  1. I tried to watch the video earlier but it doesnt seem to work for me on two computers... Im a member of fullboost also, so its not that I need a log in I think it has something to do with the video format.

    Power

Thanks for that information, its interesting to consider that with a little over $3k you can add another 50rwkw with out any trouble. Another question do you all think it would be worth changing the CAT also??

Hmmm, I have a 05 manual 200+rwkw wouldn't be too bad for stock. As soon as my warranty runs out Im going to be looking for 250rwkw as my target. I was thinking about starting my own topic about this but due to the fact my warranty runs out in a few years I thought it wasnt that import & relevant right now but I will ask any way. What would be the perfect set up to achieve 250rwkw?? I was thinking tune, phoon air box, wog or hybrid cooler and maybe bigger injectors. I would really like to be on the safe side of performance, not have everything at its limit. Sorry if it looks like im hijacking this thread
  4. WOW I had no idea the std's would be running with that high pressure!! The first time I checked my tyre pressure they were at 33 & I thought that was high. I guess I will bump them back up
  5. Compliance is the biggest issue. I guess you will need to speak to someone on here that has fitted seats, but I know even with the rally cars compliance on seats & harness is the biggest & almost costly issue.
  6. Two posts up, the one with the guy on the trampoline. Watch the little kid in the yellow Tshirt at the front, it is as if he knows what is going on.
  7. Running around Adelaide is a white BA stretch limo with a XR8 bonnet, XR fin & XR rims!!! Looked ok. Its always the same story with stretch limo's, they look ok until you look at the roof.

    Car Wars

Ok, now we have established that four corners is a good media show, what time is it on??
  9. have you already ordered... if not I might just click the order now button ← I agree whole heartly, I was ten days away from getting TUFXRT as my plates. P.S. the person with the plates TUFXRT on a yellow XRT, I dont think its funny
  10. I have been looking at the Hybrid IC also, do you know how much of a power gain you would get running a Hybrid on a stock XRT compared to e.g. a FPV IC??? The pricing is really good & the name behind the product is good so all that's left is the results this thread will be helpful for sure
  11. I always owned Holdens before buying my XRT (I owned a Lexcen newport for a few years, but that doesn't count because it was built by holden). Anyway, The XRT won over a Calias genIII because the rebuilds on the genIII were killers & the Turbo motor didn't really have any major problems, plus the bonus of cheaper fuel costs. So far I have had only minor problems with the XRT & no problems with the running gear which is important to me. My most boring post ever....
  12. My car is coming up to the 6months after the first service & I want them to change my dash because the cover is lifting in a couple of places. I was worried that they would have to take out windscreen and it was going to be a huge job, having seen yours out it should be easier than I first thought. thanks for the photo's Also has any one else had to have there dash pad changed??
  13. I think this thread should be called "What is your list of road registered cars". My first car was a 70's model honda civic which was a paddock basher. It took the most punishment out of all my cars by far!!! Could not kill this car First road registered car was a LJ Torana (the boys in blue loved this car) Next a VB Commo (never gave me trouble) VR Lexcen Newport (couldnt afford the insurance cost on a Calais, but was a piece of turd) VL Commo, had the car for about four months as a run around. last but not least BAII XRT. Next car looks to be a 300C or a Phoon
  14. I was thinking about using a little blue tack on the back of the mirror where the ball of the mirror fits into the stem. At least that way the mirror can still be moved. very annoying
  15. I recently had some extra bass fitted (thanks guys down @ GL audio). My first question is does any one else's rear view mirror rattle when they have there music up? Maybe the guys with the audio up-grade might have this problem also. Second question is how can I fix it? there are no screws in the back of the face to tighten it!! I know I sould be listening to the sweat sound of the turbo, but every now & then you need a change

    New Members Thread

I actually used this site to compare the XRT to the SS. Needless to say I'm a turbo man now. If you compare complaints on this web site to sites that talk about LS1's inregards to running gear problems, XRT running gear problems are far less, for NOW....
