I never see turbo Sedan's in Rapid in Melbourne, So far every cruise I have been on I have been the only Rapid. Along similar lines, I backed into a parking spot. Only to come back a little while later to find two XR8's had parked either side of me & had reversed into their parking spots also.

First things First Have a look in the media section & I think the Nizpro section for some good clips of XR6 turbo's in flight. The Australian currency has been kick'n goals lately (Aussie slang) so cars do actually look cheap even with the currency conversion. Yeap its mid day in Melbourne so we can claim lunch

For some strange reason when ever I am really pissed at a pub & probably shouldn't be drinking any more I tend to end up with a MB pils in my hand, I think its the colour of the bottle

I agree that its probably not going to make that much of a difference but still a diference never the less, taking into consideration how uselees these coolers are already!! Also, I believe they use different paint than what is used in a spray can & secondly you are effectively doubling the layer of paint on the cooler. Regards

Carlton is definetly meant to be a tap only beer. Lately I have been drinking Coopers pale ale so long as you leave the last mouthful in the stubby. I have also been drinking lately Ashati not a bad drop. German beer is definetly worth getting but the price normally pushes me to other beers. Beer should be drunk from glass not cans except Carlton (ref above).

I think the greatest $5 upgrade for Xr's are the two lights in the foot wells. Makes a truckload of difference im still not sold that spraying painting the cooler is not going to effect the Efficiency of air flow

I might head down but it really depends on the weather and the fact that the last two years the police have used this event like the Spring nats to Canary everything that moves. Saying all this its always worth going down on the Sunday for the burn out comp

I have been thinking along the same lines as Mr turbo except I would like to run it at Calder or some one along thouse lines for drag racing. We can run it during the day & we will have the track to our selves so people like myself who is running stock or relitive stock car can have some runs without the prying eyes of the public. It would also be more fun to compare times to BA / BF's all day long. Any constructive feed back is welcomed

It is interesting to see less people supporting the night sessions. I am personally not a big fan of the F1 as a race but I am a fan of the cars & the technology that backs the cars, I also have to respect the reaction times of the drivers.

If the ratings are high, why would they ever change the format!!! anyway.... lets just hope the show continues on.

It always seems to be the way, for some reason on the Melbourne cruises Im yet to meet another Rapid T let alone another manuel Rapid T!!!!

Their has been talk about Melbourne hosting the first night time Formula 1 event. To me this sounds like the great opertunity & I would certainly go along, what is your opinion?? I think it would be good for three reasons: 1) Drinking all day through the lead up event. 2) night time atmosphere for events are always better. 3) being the only nighttime event on the F1 calender makes the event stand out.
