Free Plug For The Guy's And Gal's At Binks Footscray.
TUFXRT6 replied to Dagabond's topic in Exhaust Workshop
Its the only place I take my car, I have recomended Binks before on the site & will happely do it again. They always ALWAYS fit me in when I need them. When Im a pedantic son of a b*tch wanting something little fixed. Always good on pricing. I have twice made the mistake of trying to go to people a little closer & both times they have basically told me to go back to where I bought the car which is Binks!!! so unless I move interstate Im not taking my car anywhere else for a service whilst under warranty. Who ever works @ Binks whats the odds of getting a Phoon tune loaded on the next time im in for a service?? Regards TUFXRT6 -
that's fine Dag's I have already worked out the times & have allowed for the travel up the freeway. Otherwise the cruise would be a two hour cruise time at max. Any one else's thoughts??
-
I didnt realise BA2's have the upgrade is valve springs & Conrods.... Can any one else confirm??
-
No Tea or Cookies as by that time Im going to be starving, we are just swinging past to pick up Dag's and any one else who is interested. Any other takers in this area??

Ok Guys & Girls, I have the restaurant booked for 8pm. Its a nice restaurant with a menu to cover everyones taste buds. Average meals main cost around $20 dollars but the meals are large, I had the Roomba's hamburger special and was really good. They have a great beer & wine selection as the other half of the restaurant is a cellar. I also went for a cruise to the top of the mountain at around 8pm on Saturday night. It was pissing down with rain so as I was driving up the mountain I was driving through the clowds. It was a good drive but we will just have to take it easy. Regards TUFXRT6

Imagine to doughnuts!!!

I think the two post previous have answered most of your questions. I have the same problem with the air vents. Keep us in the loop if you find the main reason for the air vent problem, though it is getting cold now so Im not too fussed.

I should have the restaurant location sorted this weekend and have the times firmed up also

I went the manual because I only drive the car a couple of times a week so its not a big ball buster. The only problems I have found have been: 1) You can't just get in a manual turbo & drive it soft (Once you hit 2-2 1/2k rpm you cant just change gears you will naturally want to feel the car pull). 2) Odds are your women wont want to drive it cause its manual (leave less ability to get drunk & have your women drive you home).

Torana's still look sexy up on two wheels
-
They look like a VE plus a Skyline GTR 34 front end. Funny you should mention the Camaro because that is next on my list also but have been afraid to mention it on a turbo site. Maybe we can buy one of each & share (one week Evo next week Camaro)

There is a designated cruise leader who will lead the way and set the correct pace for all cruise members. 3. Use the Buddy system; always make sure you can see the car behind you. This will give people behind you an indication on where to turn to make sure nobody gets lost. 4. CB Radio’s; if you don’t have one, follow the maps and directions given out. It is highly recommended to have CB as it enhances the enjoyment of the cruise being able to hear about road hazards and join in on the social chatter. 5. Please turn up to the meeting points with a sufficient fuel in your tank and enough time before the departure time. 6. During the cruise, please have head-lights on normal beam. It is up to individuals if fog lights are on, but be mindful that in some States, it is illegal to have fog lights on in most situations. 7. Ok Boys & Girls, Gary & myself have sketched out a likely cruise for the 26th of May. The idea is to head up to Mt Macedon for a night cruise start at 6:30ish, stopping at the Mt Macedon Memorial Cross (top of the mountain) then heading to either Gisborne or Woodend for dinner (pizza etc). The total driving time would be around 3 hours max from Westgate shell to Westgate shell excluding time at the top of the mountain & dinner. Let us know if your interested &/or would be a likely attendee. Regards Daniel

Just running through the numbers it really looks like the three main tunes played by turbo drivers are: ACDC Disturbed Metallica
-
I had my Battery replaced in the first month of owning the car!!!! This was after having to call the ford road side care 3 times, I thought I had bought a lemon and not just because of the color
-
Dags, Did they put a price on the BMW??
-
After reading every one else's reply's I really do believe I need to categories into three groups. 1) When I feel like having some fun / letting out some agression -Disturbed -Korn -Linkon Park -Prodigy 2) When I just need something to fill in time -Hard dance / trance -Decent Rap (old Dre, old Eminem ect..) 3) Radio -Nova (I hate adds) -Triple M for the footy I drive the car so I make the final dicision on what music we listen to, If my misses wants to pick different music then she can drive. that's THE LAW. Regards

Vl Turbo 255kwrw Vs Xr6t 290kwrw
TUFXRT6 replied to NeedmorePower's topic in Drag and Circuit Racing
Most cars with BRESCIANI RACING on them run good numbers, Why dont you get on the Full Boost web site to check & see if he has made it into the top times for VIC. I personally have a friend who runs 10's in a VL in street trim but lives in Syd, I havent checked the web site in a couple of months but he was still listed on the SYD top times -
I would say its Sat Nav, that's were I have mine Dohhh, dont you hate it when you dont look to see if there is a second page before adding posts
