About senna

  1. I had a bf xr6t with a few mods in manual and loved it. I bought a brand spanking needy f6 early 2010, but was looking at a 6 month wait for the manual, so I got the auto. As autos go, it's not bad, though hasn't got a patch on a decent clutchless manual like my wife's golf gti with the dsg. I find it hard to fall in love with an auto, you just don't get the connection
  2. Will the bbs challenge wheels clear the brembos on en fg f6? Anyone who's running them got pics? Jax quick fit have them, I'm seriously considering the black ones
  3. 324rwkw, on 15 pound boost. Was 275rwkw standard. Very wet day in sydney and central coast today, so no chance to try her out, but very happy with result, thank you to all the boys at CV, and thank you in particular to my 2yo daughter who (mostly) behaved at Miranda Westfield while we waited for the guys to perform their magic. As Fifty would say, I'm now "In Da Club" I'm trying to get the dyno sheet up, but my techno skills aren't great, I'll see how I go cheers
  4. I'm convinced. Spoke to CV, they're having the dyno serviced on monday anyway, so work has been postponed till the following monday. Which gives them time to get the intercooling piping in, $500 fitted. Thanks again for the info gentlemen (and ladies if there are any)
  5. Good to hear R-Spec. Thanks for the input Ben, hope I don't start popping Intercooler pipes, didn't really want the expense of doing the cooler just yet, but maybe down the track
  6. Why injectors? I don't know, that's what they suggested, and they did a good job with my previous bf xr6 turbo so I was happy to use them again. I like the sound of 614rwkw on 3psi.
  7. CV Performance, not sure what dyno they've got, I'll just assume it's the best type for my particular application?
  8. No stock run yet, but I'm buoyed by everyone's estimates! Hope it's a cool day...
  9. I've booked the F6 in for injectors and custom tune on monday. The kind gentleman suggests it should make 310 to 315rwkw. I'm excited, anyone want to play "nearest the pin?" 2009 FG F6 auto with about 9000km
  10. Hi nice result, was that just the cooler, or did you get all the piping as well? I'd be very happy with 320rwkw with intercooler and tune only. I'm in sydney, should I be looking at tunehouse or c&v? cheers

    Fg F6 Tune

Hi guys, I've been trawling around for a while, but having a bit of trouble finding some good advice on what to expect from a custom tune only on my new f6. I had a bf xr6 turbo I got to 285 rwkw with tune, injectors and fuel pump. I've been told the f6 runs about 250rwkw, and a remap alone should get it to about 300. does this sound right? She's an auto, and I managed to wreck the clutch in the bf xr6 with just a generic tune, so hopefully won't have any issues with the f6, she's a slushbox I'm on the central coast, so I'd be driving to sydney. I've used C&V in the past and been happy, but they're a 2 hour drive, so looking at other options, maybe Thanks in advance for the advice ps she's number 0772, I think, might double check that in the morning
  13. Mal wood option 3 installed, drives beautifully. Highly recommend it, especially considering ford want about the same money for the standard unit.
