Haha I've been told my OCD is getting a bit too annoying for people around me. I saw the top end audio gauges, but they looked a bit plain jane to me. I think they have a 3 pod gauge + fitting (without any gauge) option which I was definitely looking at. The AEM gauges are 52mm so they'll fit in. Being an electrical engineer in training at uni, I might give the wiring a crack myself and see how I go with it. Installed plenty of gauges before and also trying to keep costs down wherever I can. Uni student + intership = little to no money. Only one I'm worried about doing myself is Oil Pressure. Need to do my research before having a go installing.

Yeah, I've been told that. I'll probably go that route. I've seen the innovate gauge, but being OCD, I'd feel weird about having a different gauge to the set haha.

Hahaha, won't be buying them for a while. Tried keeping my options open but always came back to these. Also if I ever happen to sell my XR6, I'll have a nice set of rims for whatevers next. Ok, will have a look on the wheel offset calculator. Thanks for the help guys

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has fit aftermarket bucket seats like Brides, Recaro's etc. Just looking for a bit more support Have a mate that wants to sell his bride seat and I want it but unsure if I can actually fit it in my XR6T. What would I have to do? The seat has airbags and pretty sure I can't change that. Rails? Mounting plates? Appreciate the help guys Thanks

Hey guys, Looking at a 3 gauge pod for my XR6T, just wondering if any one here runs AEM gauges? I was thinking of running Boost, AFR and possibly oil pressure? Not sure with what to get for the 3rd gauge spot. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Hey guys, I was thinking of running some SSR SP1's on my FG XR6T (Ex HWY). Question is, I'm unsure of what size wheel + offset to get to fit flush and not run alot of camber (dad hates it haha). What size would be best and what offset (to clear brembo's aswell)? Will guard rolling be necessary? http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/ssr/professor-sp1-set Other wheels I'm considering are: http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/work/vs-xx-set http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/work/emotion-d9r-set http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/work/emotion-xd9-set http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/ssr/professor-sp3-set Hopefully that not too much to ask, will appreciate all the advice guys! Thanks

Sorry about the late reply man, been busy. I just upgraded to an FG F6, and would still like to know if I can run these wheel sizes? Would rather 18's but I might be getting some 6 pot brembos off a mates FPV. Personally I don't want to run camber, is the FPV's body wide enough to fit it flush? Or can I get away with some guard rolling?

Hey guys, just wanted to ask a few questions about wheel size and offset for my xr6t. I was going to run some jap wheels, probably WORK XD9's or something similar. I was just wondering what size and offset should I go? I will be installing shockworks soon and that should lower the car so I get a flush sorta look. Preferably no rubbing haha. I have to clear brembos as well.
-
Yeah that's about right. I will be considering it thoroughly.

I think it might be an ex highway. It has brembo's on it. Yeah I'll be upgrading brakes. Regarding the mods, I will get a tune after every mod is collected and installed.

Vehicle is a 2014 model, so it should have warranty. I was thinking only standard turbo car mods, ie Turboback exhaust and intake. Being on Subaru forums introduced me to shockworks coilovers and I am happy to see they make kits for an FG. So I'll probably do some suspension mods aswell. Don't really have a power figure in mind, because these cars make ridiculous amounts of power very quickly. When I was thinking of buying a Subaru, I knew what mods I needed to make a certain amount of power.

Hey guys, new to the ford scene. Was initially going to buy a turbo Subaru of some kind but ever since my brother bought an FG F6E, life's been hard deciding what I want. Found an FG XR6T MkII for sale for the right price and was definitely considering it. Is there anything I should look for when inspecting the vehicle? Starting mods? Cheers guys!
