  1. I've just fitted a custom 3" intake pipe and pod filter behind the headlight. and a XR6T Exhaust from the cat back, and I must say it runs alot better and sound better. much more puncher threw out the revss. but you can tell it needs a good custom tune to get most of all the gains out of those to small mods.
  2. yea pretty sure it is michael. nice lo0oking car huh
  3. looks tuff mate. saw your car the other day around narre warren. what was involed in fitting the 22son the back anything else other then rolling the gaurds?
  4. where are you located?
  5. you mean for sale 1 week... EPA the week after.... for sale again. fark it keep it ahahha
  6. OHBABI!!! drives around dandy/narre warren area alot pretty sure he works at coffey ford in dandy. and its a N/A not turbo.
  7. looks good marcus!
  8. your talking about BOSXR which I think he works at automobiles accross the rd from booran Expensive Daewoo in dandy. its got gauges along the side piller and is slammed on gt-p rims and gt front bar looks good huh.
  9. it is possibly I think there a few clips on youtube of some XR with bovs where it jut goes psshht and that is all. the spring tension in the BOV has to be very very tight for that sound.
  10. DOSE = VL TURBO noise which makes a suttututu sound. DOSE FLUTTER = uncompressed air coming out of the cooler & air intake which makes a cha cha cha sound like so A bov will still flutter a little bit depending on what boost you are running and what the tension is on the BOV is. PS: hope michael doesnt mine me using his car for an example
  11. you will only just get flutter noise if you do it that way, not a dose. still sound good though. not hard to do mate pull the crossover off and block the BOV up and put back together ahha. read XRTPSI thread everythnig you need to know.
  12. hears my other beast, that I just fitted new lights
  13. hey seventytwo ive also got this BOV lying around at home. and tryed to fit it up one day and seem to be that the top of the BOV touches the firewall and putting a little kink into the vaccum hose. is there a way to make it fit abit better?
  14. that's one hot XR there mate. came up very well. nice ride.
  15. could be that there dyno was under reading??
  16. spotted a black F6 Ute on the princess hwy near dandy with the plates FKM-02 or somthing like that and had a massive front mount cooler on it and dose like anything.
  17. I've got King Springs KHRL-12 on the rears and SSL on the front. looks the best IMO
  18. Spotted MR TURBO on princess hwy near dandy around 5ish rolling in traffic ahaha. awsome car.
  19. very true.
  20. hahaa so true ps: nice result jetute, might need to get one of those tunes myself. ahhaa
  21. with this setup I still use the BOV connected as it still flutters hard. with out no BOV its alot crazi the flutter. what ive notice running a straight pipe of the crossover is that the noise is abit more louder I dont know why. not alot more louder but noticeable. might chuck my 2.5" dose pipe on now ahhaha.
  22. ahhaha go for it looks way better IMO and works good.
  23. to tell you the truth from my experinence with this setup is yes it sucks some warm air but also suck alot more cold air. its not enough hot air to suffer from heatsoak, well I dont.
  24. well ive done all those things and ive fine that pod in the airboxs with F6 snokle worked pretty good. but I still wasnt happy with the induction noise and how it perform so I was bored one day and made my own intake pipe and performs alot better then all the other combos using the stock crossover and sounds the best. here a few qick pics of how it setup.
  25. so the back wheels are fine? just the front is your problem?
