  1. HAHA this is amazing.
  2. I'm not exactly "gangster", but man, I'm loving Dr Dre's new Compton album haha.. Makes me feel so hardcore blasting it loud while driving.
  3. Woohoo! Something to look forward to! All in time I suppose
  4. New laptop! Metabox P650SE i7 processor 16gb ram 3gb GTX970 etc Loving it!
  5. I really like bikes, but to be honest, riding on Sydney roads terrifies me haha.. I got my bike learners, but never continued it. Both of my parents ride, and my sisters bf too. So we have a few bikes at home! Recently went out on a ride with them and a bunch of their biker mates. Me making chase in the Typhoon!
  6. I watched this ages ago, these guys were working on ways to hack in to cars:
  7. BMW felt quicker off the mark and more responsive with the throttle. Probably the advantage of a quick revving 6cyl and two small turbos. It didn't have any lag. But this feels like it's itching to unleash it's full power! Sleepy, if you will. I just need to unlock that haha.
  8. I don't know what the front pads are on the car currently, but they're due for a change. The rotors are definitely in need of a change! I'll see how we go after track day haha.. Most likely would need to be swapped out based on what you guys are saying! But that's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it, since I already have these other rotors to fit. Here is my car at Wakefield, fourth private track day I've attended with good mates of mine (first with this car). Stock other than the Whiteline sway bars, crappy tyres, and crappy brakes. I had the car for just over a week before hitting the track! Didn't have a chance to fix up anything on it haha. First shot is at the cabins, other two are from when a mate was taking it for a spin. I didn't go out to the on-track photo shelters this time (I did last time! Fun shooting from there), but someone else did! Happy I got some moving shots of my car for once, normally it's me getting it for everybody else haha. Thanks! I'm thinking 300kw atw max would be enough to keep me happy and (relatively) out of trouble. But having it all in one go could be a risky thing haha.. All in time! My BMW was pretty quick and responsive, kept me out of trouble too. Pretty sure it was between 220-250kw atw when I owned it.
  9. I had slotted RDA's and good pads on the BMW and did two track days on them with no issues. They didn't warp, crack, or anything? No squealing, fading, or warping while daily driving with them afterwards either. I guess Falcons are a bigger and heavier car, so I'll see how these go in December then haha.
  10. So it seems you can't edit a post after a while? To add to mod list: Whiteline Sway Bars TrueTrac Diff Centre And other goodies are RDA Dimpled/Slotted Rotors, Intima SR brake pads. Better and prettier light globes for even more RWKW bonus. Next track day is booked 22nd December, so I'll see how much better I go this time haha yay
  11. They're 19" Argents! And nope, I haven't done springs, stock height! And thanks haha yep, they sure can! Just seems most who drive them don't tend to know it's possible, right? Thanks I needed to step down the money I put in to cars, and this was great bang for buck! Plus I wanted to try the Aussie thing, always been keen on the Typhoons since they first came out!! Thanks for the links! CMS did my rear diff bushings, and fit my Truetrac diff centre. Forgot that one on my list, along with the Whiteline sway bars I fitted! I'll contact Pat once I'm ready to do more :D Damn it, why did you have to show me the Process West group buy! I'm meant to be behaving! Hahaha..
  12. Here are some of my previous cars, since I like to post pictures of stuff. BMW 335i Audi A4 2.7tdi Subaru WRX STI Mitsubishi Galant VR4 Plus I had a 1997 Toyota Sprinter Trueno BZ-R and a 1997 Mazda 323 Astina Hardtop.
  13. Hey guys! So I've had this car for about 2 or 3 months now.. I forget already, my brain just isn't in it today! Anyway, I have intentions to build it up more, but all in time. I have a house build to ensure I have money for! So far this is what I've got: 19" FG Dark Argent wheels (Wanted TSW Bathurst, but budgets kicked in) 2.5" dual Venom exhaust in Stainless Steel Toyo Proxes T1S tyres with raised letters painted (Bored&Broke 10kw increase type thing) Future: Looking at a Process West package + dump pipe + tune (saving up - want to do it all in one hit) Lower springs and shocks (or maybe coil overs) Stereo goodies, get more hectic doof for more rwkw's. Clean up the front bar - covered in stone chips, plus there is some cosmetic damage on the front insert which annoys me. Was there when I got it, didn't bother me at first =/ Here are some pics:
  14. I have finally just seen all the photos! Thanks guys!! Argh they look so good haha. You'd call it OEM Plus, right? Haha. Man.. I really like them, I think they look great! Concerned about finding fakes though, so need to do some hunting
  15. Argh! I'll have to check this once I'm home, free photo upload sites are blocked here at work :( I'll come back to this tonight thanks guys!
  16. Haha I had the RS05RR on my 335i, they were so light, it was great! Not big on any of the Enkei wheels for this car, this time around though. I also can't spend other Jap brand money on wheels this time around either :(
  17. Hey guys, Anybody have these on a BA/BF? (4/1 Brembos) I really like them, I'm sure they'll fit right? And I'm sure 4 the same size all around would obviously fit too?
  18. Trying to decide whether or not it is worth me buying the exhaust with the 4" dump now, or buying just the cat-back now and buying the dump later when I'm ready to mod more and get a full tune done? As I want to buy all the power stuff in one go and get it all fitted and tuned in one go.. But I want an exhaust for better noise now, while I save my pennies for the rest =P
  19. Thanks guys! The pad model number thing is just for my reference so I have something to work off of. Thanks
  20. Hey guys! Just wanting to confirm if I have the 4/1 brake set up? I'm pretty sure I do, since they're definitely Brembos on the front and PBR on the back haha.. But just want someone to confirm for my peace of mind! As in 4 pot Brembo fronts and 1 pot PBR rears. If I have the 4 pot brembo fronts, what style pad do I need to ensure I get? DB1473 or DB1935. Seems depending on where I search and shop, I get slightly different answers =/ Could someone please also help me find DBA rotors that would fit too? Hoping for model numbers, so I can reference and write down to remember! 2006 BF FPV F5 Typhoon
  21. Couple more, yay, loving the car! From a Wakefield private track day. One of my mates took my car out a couple times, so I used that chance to get some photos too.
  22. Thanks Phil! $100 each online, pretty decent actually doesnt look too difficult, I could probably actually have done it myself. I just don't have the confidence :( It is daunting thinking of doing such things myself. Give me a computer and I can design you things, hand me a camera and I'll capture things for you. But hand me a spanner and I will look at you dazed. Haha. My mates are pretty good at these things, and I happily will hand them cash for helping out! Ford did it for me for $360 fitted (both fronts), and did it right away. Solved my problem and allowed me to get back to the office! I could have saved some cash by doing it myself or my mates, but I felt I needed it solved ASAP :(
  23. I ended up purchasing a M86 TrueTrack today, and booked in to CMS to get the rear diff bushings and diff swapped out Turns out the horrible noises and whining I was getting, was actually from the front wheel bearings! Took lots of me trying to work out where it was coming from, however, only a couple of minutes from someone who knows what to look for to figure out =P I should have gone to a pro to check it out sooner! But it's hard when you work full time and such.
  24. Thanks fellas!
  25. If you get the dump pipe, do you need a new tune? I read somewhere (forget where), that cat-back is fine without a new tune, but if you replace the dump you'll need a tune?
