I found out that my lights will always be on. It is a kit that is installed on all Telstra fleet cars, kind of like a motorbike, as a safety thing....

Yeah I have done a similar run like that before in my Integra. Wakefield is on the list for the next month or so for sure!

To be honest, this is a term I have not heard of before, nor is it in the manual. The only lighting option I know about is the Lights On feature, but I think this is only for the interior lights.

Went for a spirited drive last night as it was cold - about 3-4 degrees. Absolutely addictive!!! White was my first and only choice. I have had blue, silver, black and a white car before, and I am not a fan of the current blue/yellow/green/purple options. My white car was by far the best to keep clean, and it hid all scratches. There are no plans to modify the car as it is a fleet car, but if I option to buy it at the end of the 2 years there will be some mods then. One question for you BF owners, I can't turn my headlights off when the car is started. I have turned the headlight knob to off, but they stay on. It is like the off setting is hooked up to the Auto setting. Any idea's on how to turn them off? Pictures will come over the weekend! Cheers guys.

Unfortunately I need to be at work today, or I would have taken the entire day off. Atleast Monday is a public holiday here in Canberra so I will make a day trip to the coast and run her in up and down the Clyde/Brown.

Hey Guys After 3 long months waiting, I picked up my new white BF XR6T Auto today. It looks so clean and the body lines look great on white. I opted for the Blue interior, along with rear parking sensors, towbar and premium audio. I have only put the foot down a couple of times, but coming from a string of FWD Jap cars, I know it will take me some time to get used to the RWD and the overall size. I will take some pics on the weekend if people are interested. See you on the road! Simon

I got pinned in NSW a couple of years ago where I was overtaking in a 100km/h zone when the limit went to 70km/h. I was done at 113km/h which means loss of 4 points and a loss of licence for 1 month. Not to mention a $512 fine. I ended up taking it to court as I felt the police were too close to a speed change. The judge knew the road and said that they should not have been there. I offered to accept a ticket of 13km/h over the limit, but not the full 43km/h. I was let off and only had to pay the $60 court fee. Also, the cops told me on the day that they were not booking anyone under 95kmh which is a 25km/h window.

Friends just went to Bora Bora for their honeymoon. Probably a little out of your budget of $6k, but they loved it. Also Tahiti would be a great option. Broome too has some great resorts now. Broome Accommodation

Can you add a turbo timer that can be removed easily if needed? I pick my car up soon and it is a fleet car which means I am not allowed to modify it at all, but I know I will be fanging it everywhere and like others in this thread have said, I don't want to wait a couple of minutes in the garage letting it cool down. Cheers

Jet - She does not know about this website as I only get online at work. Thanks Shazzy, but I got her a heap of jewellery for christmas. But I like the idea of a fluffy toy as well. 72 - I took her to Qld and Dreamworld last year for her Bday, and she took me to Sydney to see a show. We both spent a heap of money last year which is why we want to limit spending this year. I agree, great memories make a bday better! I am taking her to dinner tomorrow too, she just needs to tell me where! Darren - the first 2 sites are blocked here at work, and for good reason! The 3rd should be blocked and the 4th, well, I like your design of the website and I hope that your big (small) problem has gone away!! I have been leaning towards getting her an adventure tour at the zoo. On the tour you feed a lion, have a bear lick sugar off your hand and hold a python etc. Canberra Zoo I know she would like this! Thanks guys, your all being helpful!

If a FWD has an LSD, torque steer is minimal and I am assuming that the XR5T has one. My Integra Type R had an LSD and I never actually recall experiencing torque steer in it, even when flogging it around Wakefield a heap of times. I personally don't like the look of the Focus, so the XR5T is not an option for me. Still, its about time something comes on the market to lower prices of the other 2L turbo cars on the market.

Her best friend is getting her this, so they can go together....

I didn't realise that this info is relevant I guess I will give you as much info as possible now She is turning 27 Been going out 2.5 years Don't live together Pink is her favourite colour She is very low maintenance and drinks beer! She rocks! I am looking for something that she wouldn't think of getting herself, clothes and stuff like that she can get herself and usually does. The past few years I have bought her perfume, books, clothes and even a trip to Qld and Dreamworld. This year we decided to stay under $150 for presents as we are going to Fiji in July. Reason I am after present ideas is that no matter how left field they may seem, they may spark an idea of something she may like etc. Hope this is enough info! Cheers
