hi all I got a prob with my center diff bush stud , it keeps comeing lose ??. about year ago I replaced the center bush and all was good. but now that im runing 296rwkw the stud comes lose all the time. I can get under there and nip it up and then its all good, no clunks its all fine. but then it comes lose again. geting under there to nip it up every uthere day is starting to get a bit old I can tell you. hope some one knows wots going on or has a fix? thank you mick

this is wot I did , I put two studs in the lower part of the bumper here and here u will have to get down and mark were u wont the studs on the two little tab thingo's. now take the bar off and drill the holes in the tab's first. then put the bar back on and senter punch the steel cross member thru the hole's. now take the bar back off (if u dont do this u will make the holes to big in the plastic) now get a tap and matching drill bit ( for the tap that is ) then drill the holes in the cross member and tap them out. put the bar back on and screw the studs in. see no more gap's mick

no unusaul sounds maybe bit louder spool sound, boosted up fine with no lose of power. I thort it was a oil leak somewere on the manifold, so I went looking for it and I only got as far as takeing the air pips off the turbo and seeing the blaids, this was followed by much cursing and kicking of toolboxes. by the way coolant on a hot engine and zorst smells a lot like burnt oil, it also looks oily when it dries out. mick P.S my old el had a leaky power steering hose that used to leak on to the zorst and make the same smell.

yes I had the very same thing happning in my T. I realy hope im wrong here and I mean that. the oil smell was coming from my turbo, bits of paint and cast form inside the crap cast alloy crossover pip had gone thru and bent and chiped the turbo blades. this put it out of balance and stuffed the bearing and its seal. so the oil leak was inside the turbo , it always smelled worse when I turned the car off. mick

hi all need a bit of help geting info. I wont to put a F6 engine oil cooler on my 03ba and wont to know if some one has put together a compleat kit that I can bye? like with the heater hose pipes and every that you would need to do the mod mick

bead blasting is a bit exstreem but me mate had one at his work so it cost me F-all. sand blasting would be beter, most enginering workshops have them. mick

same thing hapend to my turbo . cost me about 1600 for a exchange unit. I carnt remember who I got it off but it came form meld eny way. I know what the cause is. its the house porly made piece of castalloy crossover on top of the engine . when I was looking for what shaged my turbo I looked in the crossover and found a piece of the black heat paint had flaked off ( big as a 50cent piece ) and the top of a bubble in the casting had cracked off. I had it bead blasted before puting it back on. id advise every one to get this done NOW thay are a ticking timebomb. so the moral of the story is its cheaper to replace some turbos under warranty than it is to have a recall and if u are out of warranty ford dont give a rats so id like to give a big thank you to the bean counter at ford and hope u f ing sleep well at night. mick

just did the solenoid thingo but had to remove the battery to do it. I pulled of both hoses and flushed it right out. I also pulled the hoses right out and flushed them out aswell ( a lot of black came out of them to ). but now I got a new prob the car is oversteering and there is smoke coming from the back tyres, its not hapning all the time though, just from a standing start or exiting bends. wots wrong with it and is it covered under warranty? mick

hi all just after some info im just about to fit a full whiteline suspension kit to me car and well would u beleve the diff bush is rooted....... to quote a post "The problem wont happen again once done, the only ones that had a reoccuring concern are ones fitted with the old style bush the second time." so I went to ford to get said new style bush. but the ford guy said " the hole rearend has to be replaced"???? so I said then y do u sell the old style bush as a seperat replacment part. ford guy just stands there with a moronic look on his face. I made some phon calls and got a part no' BA4B425A but I dont know if this is old or new style. so im hopeing that some one here knows and if it is the old style could thay please please tell me new style part no' mick
