backfireing is usely a good sign of runing lean,this is very bad!!! missing undere load and high rpm is a sign of bad coils and or plugs,this not so bad. id be looking at fuel fillter and pump first. mick

could it be the lockup stall locking up at 80+kph, I know I can feel my 1 doing it. it can feel like a surge. mick
