  1. Hey guys I have a tial external wastegate which was being controlled by factory boost solenoid. I'm going to install an ebc but I have a question about the multiple ports on the wastegate. My wastegate has two top vent ports and 1 bottom pressure port. The boost controller says to run line from turbo tee - ing into the bottom wastegate port and also to the new solenoid ---> vent port on wastegate. That's easy enough. But what about my second vent port? wouldn't that just be venting the air straight out of the wastegate instead of forcing the wastegate to stay closed? Or am I supposed to somehow block off my second vent port. Sorry if this is hard to follow
  2. Yeah Wastegate hasn't been ported. It hits 20 psi at 3k and holds that. I read through the mods vs power thread in this forum. 18 psi seems to range from literally 320kw to 408 kw.
  3. I had 318 kw when my bf2 had 120k on it. Then at 135k got 370kw. Gets driven pretty hard. But if I'm going to be boosting I keep it in manual mode. Got a service at about 130k. Done 145k now. Slips when changing gears at high boost in drive. And doesn't go into 4th in manual mode at full boost. But that only happens when gearbox Is hot. I don't have a ZF tune or even a tranny cooler.
  4. It was tuned by castle hill performance. I thought they were recommended.
  5. So I shouldn't be worried about it at all? I just thought 6 psi extra is a bit much.
  6. Hey guys I have a bf2 with ZF auto. It makes 372kw at 20psi. When I hold flat and the gearbox changes gears the boost spikes from anywhere from 23 to 26 psi. While it's in gear it's perfectly fine though. Is this normal with the auto? Is it something I should be worried about? And are there ways to fix this? If it matters It has 4 inch dump pipe to 3.5 exhaust and complete plazmaman intercooler kit. Hot/cold side and 4" intake where battery used to be. Stock turbo.
