  1. Yeh? How much is a stick of TNT going for these days?
  2. Not only did he cut the pit exit, but he spat a crap load of dirt onto the pit exit lane!
  3. Yep, that sure is the same load of crap that was on there before... minus the video which shows drive.com are frauds....
  4. Save your money and get it tuned by Simon. I used West Racing (albeit a while ago) to tune my ED XR6 after I had a Crow cam fitted and when I got it back it idled at 2500rpm, pinged its head off under part throttle, and failed to run in closed loop. When I asked him to fix it he said that "Sorry we tried, but this is the best we can get it" I dont think so Tim!!! I took it to another tuner and all my issues were sorted in 20 minutes!!! I subsequently called him up to let him know that another tuner had fixed my tune, and he told me on the phone that "No, that's not possible, he can't have, blah blah blah" I don't have time for such arrogance. I wouldn't touch West Racing with a 10 foot pole - and as Ben said, they are expensive. He may be good with WRX's but he sure isn't with Falcons!! Take a look in his workshop after all! It's full of Commodores and Subarus! Maybe he has upped his game with the BA.. I sure hope so... but still, I personally would not use them. Cheers, Ross
  5. I look to have to be in Melb for work from Dec 6 onwards at this stage... My schedule is not set in stone yet, but it's looking grim...
  6. Cruise was great! Thanks for organising it once again Steve! It looks like the weather Gods smilied down upon us as it wasn't raining and the roads were totally dry for the entire cruise! Sorry guys for bailing from Fast Eddy's at the end! We need to exchange mobile numbers so we can keep in touch when on the cruises! It was really good to see everyone and their partners again! Cheers, Ross
  7. Turning the key and waiting for 10 seconds isn't really the ideal way to do it. When the key is turned to the IGN position the fuel pump runs for one second to prime and then switches off until the engine is cranked. If you do have an in-tank leak as stated earlier, all you are doing is allowing the pressure to drop again for the remaining 9 seconds. You are best off turing the key to the IGN position, waiting for 2 seconds, turning the key off, back to IGN again for one second and then attempting to crank the engine.
  8. What sort of 21st starts at 7pm ? Not one I've ever been too ← I was thinking the same thing!
  9. SH*TE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I have seen the numerous threads stating Ford can detect a vehicle that has had an edit on it, but I don't think anyone on here has had their warranty knocked back unless they did something stupid (Ie. did not flash back to standard) I am happy to stand corrected however by anyone who can say that Ford did explicitly state "You have altered the factory PCM flash" and have their warranty claim denied as a result.
  11. No I can't say I am.... who exactly are the Purple Circle carl club?
  12. Good news. Will be a big night next week.. I now have an issue with my spark plugs breaking down. They're brand new @ .75 Any ideas anyone?? ← Perhaps weak coils? (but this sounds unlikely if they are all doing it after just changing your plugs). Or maybe poor conection between sparkplug and coil cap? Did you get the same plug? or a diff brand? It's possible that the top of the spark plug where the coil cap sits on is a slightly different profile to the original plugs you had in there thus causing a poor connection? Or, perhaps you may have damaged one (or more) of the coil drivers when you were removing and refitting them?
  13. Hell yeah mate! Come along! I missed the last cruise so I didnt get to see your XR5T! Cheers, Ross
  14. It's in the owner's manual.
  15. So Steve is it a definite that you wont be there with your T, but with a Focus instead?
  16. where is it?? ← With woggie I'm guessing?
  17. They don't look like quad spray to me, but more like standard single pintle style injectors. They most likely will work, but wont be helping your vehicle make good power (poor efficiency) nor clean emissions.
  18. Talk about threadmining! (At least it was a legit threadmine as we had to wait 3 years for ducatijb's verdict hehe)
  19. Good number plate Sounds like a cross between a loose women and a \|/ ← My sentiments exactly....
  20. For the price + DSC mate I think it looks mighty attractive....
  21. I'm guessing you say this meaning that you kept getting call drop-outs? That is due to the poor network switching of the handsets more than anything else. Unfortunately 3's handset range/choice was (up to around 1 yr ago) somewhat poor and as a result alot of the handsets had trouble switching between 2G towers (Telstra) and 3G towers (H3G). If you had a late model handset, you would more than likely find 3's service to be quite acceptable.
  22. You must like the thought of you car not being roadworthy too (At least in WA it would be illegal)
  23. I didn't want to say it, but I'm glad someone did.
  24. Mechanical. http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.a...search&gid=3443
  25. Yes it is absolutely correct. Im sure you are being quoted for 6107 Boost/vac gauge MECHANICAL at $170.... The Fuel pressure gauge is electronic and as such it is MUCH dearer. (But they are both still grossly overpriced) Don't waste your money and get it from here, see my thread titled "Group Buy on Autometer Cobalt Gauges" and get your gauges from the website (dynamicracingprooducts.com) I quoted in there. They are a HEAP cheaper ($169 USD for 6163 electronic fuel pressure). Cheers, Ross
