  1. I saw a Force 8, in Silhouette also, dumped, with mags in town yesterday at around 1:30pm. It looked HOT!!
  2. EDIT** The thread is simply 3/16"! I don't know what the fellow at Coventrys was doing when he was looking! Cheers, Ross
  3. Hi All, As the topic says, can someone tell me what thread the mounting studs are on the Autometer Cobalt series of gauges? I have been to Coventrys and they cannot seem to find a matching nut for it?? Thanks. Cheers, Ross
  4. So Allan?? How did it all go?? I am anxiously waiting for the results! hehe
  5. Not on BA MkI series. ← BA Mk I series has it if the Lux pack was optioned.
  6. Hey Al, certainly a large project, but one that I personally am looking very forward to seeing you complete! I'm sure you will be back into it as soon as you get your wiring harness and ABS modulator! Enjoy the small break you have before everything re-opens! (I know that doesnt help much hehe) Cheers, Ross
  7. Spotted a lightning strike Phoon plates "FPV F6" On Balcatta Rd today.
  8. Hey Steve, I too am sorry at the turnout. I know you said that you weren't disappointed in the members as such, but moreso the situation... but I just wanted to say that I did let you know a long time ago (Post #20 on Page2) that I would be over east for work during that weekend. Anyway, don't stop organising the cruises mate! We all really do apppreciate your effort even if it isn't said by everyone all the time. Maybe everyone should make an effort to be somewhat more proactive with regards to organsing cruises... Lets hope so in 2007 Have a good Christmas everyone! Cheers, Ross

  10. I could write it here, but then I would have to change the topic to "spoiler"... and I cant do that as it wont allow me to edit it now. If you want to see the results go to: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....12/2006.PHIL.R9 Cheers, Ross
  11. What a *BEEP*!! Finally shown the damn bad sportsmanship flag!!!
  12. Vixen BF Phoon with 18's in Balcatta today. Good bloke too... he gave it some stick exiting the carpark onto the road. (1CGN XXX). Looked like a youngish bloke was driving too.
  13. Spotted, Vixen (I think) BA XR6T with mags, XR8 bonnet and "XR6 Turbo" decals on the bulge at Whitfords Avenue on ramp (heading south) this morning at 9:20am. Anyone know who's car this is?
  14. Yes, they are manufacturered in Germany. Dont forget the BMW 330 you drove has a low output engine compared to the T (not to mention it's a lighter vehicle) so they can afford to offer high slip changes to give a very smooth shift without worrying about damaging the box.
  15. Mine also did this and was fixed by the diff mob when I was getting my diff inspected. You are 100% correct in saying it is coming from the rear left. What the problem is is that one of the rear diff cradle bolts (left side) sits about 2mm away from the fuel tank. When you go over bumps etc, the entire cradle moves a little bit and the head of this bolt thumps against the fuel tank. The head of this bolt is domed, so the fix is to simply grind away the some of the domed part of the bolt. You will notice that there is actually a piece of thin foam stuck to the fuel tank to cushion this bolt if it touches the fuel tank. (At least mine has the foam - June 2004 build) Get underneath there and have a look for yourselves. Obviously you will find that this issue only affects sedans and not the utes as they do not have the diff cradle.
  16. Hey Steve, I have used WA Suspensions since 1998 on my cars as they always do a good job, and they take care with my cars. I go there every 15000kms to get a wheel alignment just as a precaution, and if no adjustment is required, they never charge me.
  17. I actually bought the low washer level sensor a long time back and fitted it as one of the very first mods I did to my car. I have the Lux pack however and as a result the plug that goes into the low water level sensor was already there, I just had to unwrap it from some insulation tape on the wiring loom and plug it in. I obviously also had to drill the hole in the bottom of the water reservoir in order to fit the sensor. On the lux pack vehicles with the high series instrument cluster, the low washer water level indicator is in the bottom left LCD on the tachometer. Cheers, Ross
  18. I have an issue with my airbag warning lamp which seems to have appeared this last week in where the lamp is switching on and off somewhat randomly. I do not think there is an issue with the airbag system itself as there are no associated chimes to indicates the failure mode and also the lamp seems to flicker on and off like a loose connection, poor ground etc. If I remember correctly, there was a TSB for the airbag warning lamp... can anyone shed some light on this? I would prefer to fix it myself as opposed to taking it to Ford and if someone could perhaps post the TSB or maybe tell me what needs to be done, I could do it. Cheers, Ross

Hey Tony, I had the same problems yesterday.... All fine today though...
  21. I'm in too! I put my hand up for the last karting event too but it got canned. :(
  22. Ahh damn... you guys are right... it looks like Shockwave clear as day here on my work PC... my damn laptop at home must have the brightness turned up too high!
  23. Just saw this thread on a diff forum... Not sure if others know about it, but it seems WA police are now using XR6 Turbos... There is a pic of an unmarked blueprint T. You can see the light bar on the rear parcel shelf. There is also a fully marked highway patrol vehicle in there too. http://warsug.info/viewtopic.php?t=1572 Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't blueprint discontinued on the BF? It is definitely a BF Falcon in the pic as you can see the BF "jewelled" tailights... Must be a special order for the WA Police...
