  1. I'm definitely in for an old school cruise! Picked up my G6E Turbo on Wednesday and keen to go out for a spin anytime!
  2. I might as well pipe up then!!
  3. Door lock actuator you can get from ebay for about $70 exchange if memeory serves me correct. There was a thread a LOOOONG time ago which detailed the hella (?) part numbers of the fog lamp assembly. From memory the front foglight through hella was approx $110-120?
  4. I'm sure you already know this tab, but I'm assuming you have an early build G6ET if you have the fuel sender issue?
  5. Hi Senna, I know you are busy - thanks for the organising this group buy. One question - seeing as you have seen the kits, do you know if the H4 bi-xenon (Hi/Lo) bulbs fit in an FG without interfering with anything behind them? (battery etc?). I know the bulbs are longer so that is my only concern. Cheers.
  6. Erm.. if your ABS is kicking in too early that is due to the grip of your tyres against the road being crap... nothing to do with the brakes themselves! So long as the wheel is able to be locked, then the brakes are doing their job! Get stickier tyres!
  7. Hey Brendan, You know I'm out and about walking around Perth at lunch time most days... I'll keep an eye out, and if I see the loser I will prompty grab your bike!
  8. It is stated anywhere that VCM can tune our BA/BF/FG?
  9. PM sent.
  10. As ZAP mentioned earlier... have a look at the diff filler plug on the side of the diff. If it is LSD it will have a metal tag attached to it stating LSD oil only. I'm quite certain only the LSD diffs have the tag anyway... so even if you can't read it but the tag is there, it is a LSD.
  11. Please do... I am very curious about this. Can you also look at the compliance label and tell us what month your car was built? Cheers.
  12. Sorry - maybe I should clarify... what I meant was that with your +300 tune, does your car break out into wheelspin with ONE wheel only when hammered from a standing start? (as the TC cannot brake the spinning wheel sufficently in order to transfer power to the non-spinning wheel) I too am not in the habit of smoking up 19 inch tyres! I'm just wanting some first hand info from somone like yourself who actually has their hands on one!
  13. Thanks for that. So in a Nutshell, your TC does not ever shut down so that you have to turn off the engine and restart it right? Also you said the open diff is ok "as long as it is not thrashed". Do you mean that you are able to overcome the TC and just smoke the tyres up if you just hammer it from a standing start? (with your +300rwkw tune) Cheers.
  14. Thanks for the photos! Looks great! I have two questions... 1) What colour does the FPV dash light up? is it blue? (just wondering how it goes with the white backlighting everywhere else...) 2) You've got a tune put in your car... How does the car go with the lack of LSD? Does the new found torque over power the Traction Control and does it shut down? or does the TC ACTUALLY work to control wheel spin and keep the car going? The reason I ask is that if it causes the TC to shut down, then the car will be useless (as far as acceleration goes) until it is restarted (TC shutdown) as it has an open diff which relies on using the rear brakes to counter the effect of having an open diff. I'm really thinking about puttiing a tune in when mine arrives, but I really want to make sure that the open diff is still useable with a tune in the car. Cheers!
  15. PICS PLEASE!!!
  16. No need to use iTunes timbo! Just use a program called "floola" (assuming yo are not using an iPhone or iPod Touch). By the way, I was the guy who asked you to do the 80-120k vid on youtube! Cheers for that!!
  17. Same here! Merry Christmas everyone!!
  18. Hehe yes I did see it gathering dust there, but the build looked good. I was talking to Mark about your car quite a bit actually. I used to see it almost everyday as I used to work just around the corner from Regional and my mate's Corvette was always in there getting some engine/mods done! Look forward to more pics!
  19. Mate, was Mark from Regional Motorsport (ex-Regional Motorsport now...) building this car?
  20. 2.5% increase in Falcon range price effective Jan 1 2009.
  21. The financial situation is HUGE - much MUCH more to come. Last time I tried explaining a few things about "What do they know that we don't" I was labelled a know it all. I won't go into detail as that will just start the regular goon squad firing up, but there will be literally hundreds of banks across USA declaring bankruptcy over the next year. That my friend is going to cause a big problem with the companies who ACTUALLY have money to lend, but are too scared to lend it in case whom they are lending to goes t*ts up. GE Money and all the other big bank failures are due to massive overleveraging on (now) worthless assets. Huge deflation to come for the economy - except for food, where price inflation will happen.

    Moto Gp

Not that I mind, but seeing as we are quoting nicknames, Stoner is frequently labelled on the Motogp forums as "Crashey Stoner" (due his number of falls) and also as "Crybaby Stoner" as he always has a whinge if he loses. He is never gracious in defeat... there was always something wrong his bike... or he was "forced" into making a mistake as there was something wrong with the bike setup. At least Rossi is an interesting personality to watch on TV... and you can hardly say Rossi, just "likes to play to the crowd". His record is amazing, so you definitely cant take that from him. I do like Stoner... He's doing an amazing job!! I just think he's a little young and immature and not man enough to accept defeat graciously yet. No doubt with time he will improve.
  23. I too was wondering about that... All the FGs I have seen have that section a greyish colour...
