Hrmmm Well the only ones with painted spoilers that I know of are XR06T and XRCHRIS which are both blueprint, and Mark's is blueprint also but I dont think his cooler is silver... and they all have their spoilers still so I dunno who that is And the only naroomas I know of are Zoran and LeighD... we really need to get some flyers and stickers out there to get some more members! Saw a (Narooma blue?) XR6T this morning on Balcatta road next to me at the lights. He had a painted intercooler... so I *think* it make have been markxr6t? I've never met Mark, but the bloke driving looked young enough and I know he also painted his cooler with Steve? It was also de-spoilered... I looked over and we both gave each other the nod. Steve?? Mate, I tried Lynford yesterday as they are close to work so I could duck out there during lunch.... As I expected, they couldn't do anything.... I have to book it in for a looksie... but would u belive that Lynford didnt even have another spare remote from any of their vehicles?? Hey All, I have Sat Nav fitted to my XR6T, but today it seems the unit will refuse to turn on. I've changed the batteries in the remote, but pressing the on/off button still results in nothing. Is there anyone here in Perth who has Sat Nav and wouldnt mind me coming over just to try the remote? I'm reasonably confident the Sat Nav unit itself in the boot is working as I can eject the CD and it slides out, and it will happily accept the new CD in when I place it in the slot. Cheers, Ross

Dont bother with Tectaloy Steve - walk into Coventrys and ask for the Ford coolant for a BA XR6T. You will get a 500mL (I think its 500mL..) bottle of genuine Ford coolant concentrate. You simply add the concentrate, and then add distillled water. Ross ← this does not sound right!ford recomend 33% or 50% for extreme climates.500ml is not enough.sounds like a corosion inhibitor not a coolant. ← No - it is coolant. Also it is 500mL of CONCENTRATE - not 500mL of premix (Eg. Tectaloy). This is why you only require 500mL. Ross

I would like to be able to make slight timing adjustments to my car..... I'd also like to be able to make slight changes to the dashpot setting if possible - to optimise the on/off throttle modulation (I have a manual ) and to also smooth out the off throttle coasting characteristics of the engine... IF she was in a Falcon, the moment the TC has to intervene the cruise control disengages. All in all.. bollocks!

I got my Ford dealer to fit my (personally sourced) Extreme clutch plate + pressure plate + flywheel assembly here in Perth. Seeing as I got them (Ford) to fit it, they told me that my powertrain warranty was totally intact, but the clutch assembly they fitted will be no longer warranted. (no problem) Your dealer should be able to do this for you! The standard T5 clutch is CRAP. Mine was fudged after only 20,000kms! If your dealer fits another genuine Ford clutch, it will only fail again as soon as your warranty is up! - not to mention the gross overpricing of the Ford OEM parts! You can get the whole Extreme kit for less! Cheers, Ross
