  1. Once again thanks for the replies... I'm gonna give the T a go and see what happens. Very hard to resist a car that can put out 250 + at the wheels with bugger all mods - very impressive either way you look at it. I guess the XR8 idea was me trying to convince myself that I'm over the turb thing (who am I tryin to kid) So who in Melbourne is interested in selling their BA
  2. Thanks for the speedy replies gents. I definately am leaning towards the T - just really need to hear first hand how reliable they are when tweaked a little. I do around 500 k's a week - most of that time its pretty much cruising. What I really wanted to know without beating round the bush - When you guys tramp it - is it with confidence? What I mean to say is - are you worried something might let go or does it feel healthy all day every day? Cheers Once again GREAT site
  3. Hi - Just wanted to start by saying great site/forum I'm after some opinions / advise I can't seem to decide between the BA XR6T and the BA XR8 and was hoping I could get some first hand answers to some of the questions I've got about the two. I have had a few quick turbo cars over the years. All of them provided me with more headaches than pleasure. What I wanted to know was - If you get an XR6T - do an edit and proper tune on it. How does this affect its reliability as a daily driven car that does around half an hour in peak hour traffic to and from work. I have thought about leaving it stock and pretending that I am content with the power. As any turbo owner will vouch - this mentality won't last long. This is the only thing making me lean towards the XR8. It doesn't quite have the power I'm looking for - it would just be a compromise between decent power and minimal headaches. Any opinions appreciated Cheers P.S - Hope I posted in the right section
