    Be Aware...

In all fairness, the liquidator is merely protecting the interests of the creditors! Even then, they still require the creditors to submit proof of debt. Though they are administering the business, they still operate within the guidelines of acceptable trade practices in the relevant state. Therefore, they are not any tougher to make warranty claim against per sae. J.
  2. One of the reasons the Falcon and Late model camira depreciate in value excessively is due to the various government and non-government departments dumping them onto the market after 18 months. The value of the vehicle is dictated by the force of market supply and demand. In regard to the post above, NO you dont benefit from market depreciation for taxation purposes because the normal tax depreciation rate is 18.75% diminishing vaue (used to be 22.5%) hence whatever the current market value/replacement value for your vehicle is irrelevant for tax purposes (unless you are a dealer and have to account your stock by either cost, replacement value or market selling value). Regards Jacques (Tax Manager)
  3. Sorry to hear about your mishaps dude! Did you have t/c off? I find that wet weather + boost + t/c off are a bad combo. Best of luck with your insurance matter! J.
  4. If you think that's harsh, a guy was thrown into the slammer for 6 hours after warning motorists of little piggies hiding in the bush ahead. Two days later, a journalist from the West Australian was pounced on and issued a move on notice for doing the same thing! Shame on those piggies! J.
  5. Is there something wrong with this post? 2 things: 1) Talking on the mobile phone while driving; 2) Street racing!!! Not so cool when one of yous t-bone a car coming out of a side street. Happened in Perth in the suburb of Bassendean last X-mas when 2 commies decided to have a drag at peak traffic hours at 17:00 and killed a person. Morons! Shame on all those who condone or think this sort of things are cool. J.
  6. Try http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/ I think from your descriptions you would be looking at around $23,000 . Unfortunately these things don't hold their value too well. Good luck with the new ride. I hear the Merc C-class are doing a special discount run out of their 2005 stocks. Regards Jaques
  7. Please post your pix to http://www.laughatrice.com/ Go to the above link and you'll find even worse rice cars!!! This is one of my favourite sites. Jacques
  8. Here http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...oon-concept.htm is the link to another article on the "DRIF6" that I found on the net. Hope the link works! Jacques
  9. Does anyone know what mods the Clubsport DTS package has? I think only tyres & suspension upgrade right? That one seems to be on 'roids! I read in Motor Mag BFYB it clocked 5.25 sec and very low 13s for the qtr mile pass. I wonder if the F6 can pull those figures with only "cosmetic" changes without any engine modification. J
  10. Please note that "track" consists of curves/turn as normal road conditions would do. The F6 isnt that devasting in a straight line either due to FPV's weight policy. This would also then render the car pretty ineffective around bends and turns! You can't beat the law of physics. My gripe is with other comments above condescending the vehicles in the contest without any basis, and placing the F6 on a pedestal for no valid reasons. My apology for stating 10 cars in the previous post. But consider the following vehicles with comparable price in that Wheels contest that could cane the F6 around the track: SS Commodore HSV Clubsport R8 Evo 9 STi 350Z RX8 Lotus Elise (a bit high on the price) J
  11. Guys, Please read the articles in Wheels March edition carefully. You'll see that there are at least 10 cars there that could give the F6 Typhoon a hiding on the track. You'll also note that the reason FPV or Ford did not provide a test vehicle was that "they were up to their armpit" upgrading their vehicles. How long has the BF range been released now? What upgrading are they referring to? Sounds more like excuses to me! Not to mention Ford's build quality issues! Don't flame me, just a statement of fact. Regard Jacques
