Hi there just joined the forum & thought I would post some details. (Photos to come later sorry) After having serious near fatal lung surgery last year, I decided that before I go, I want to own something fast! So I scoured carsales whilst in hospital & found this peach. 2011 FG XR6T 6-speed manual in silhouette...with only 40,000km on it! And it came with sweet 19" OZ racing rims, 6 & 4 piston brembos & luxury pack black leather. All that for $27K, it was THE best drive back from wagga wagga to canberra. Drove it stock for 1000km then couldn't help myself Mistakenly bought a HDi GT pro2 intercooler off ebay with "all the correct piping". Got the front bar off, went to work with the grinder & got the intercooler fitted. As I lay out the pipes I realise something is wrong. The pipes don't line up. Called Grant at ESP in Qbn & after reinstalling stock cooler, took it to them to get more work done. Earls turbo oil line HDi intercooler Hi flow stock airbox 1000cc injectors SCT X4 Flash 4" Dump pipe Turbo back 3.5" system with mufflers & resonators Told them I wanted a mild tune so could get used to the power & the boys didn't disappoint me...311.1wkw!!! Bit faster than my 1.6l getz After that I found some LED headlights & taillights from MARS performance & after installing them found 1 of the taillights wasn't working. A quick call to them & they sent me out a new 1, works a treat. Am hoping to get more photos up soon Thanks P.s I'm looking for an upgrade to the stock suspension, not going to race track with it(yet) so street performance is priority. What would ppl recommend between: 1. Pedders XA Coilovers & Whiteline swaybars F+R or 2. Tein Super Street Advance coilovers Same price for option 1 or 2 Any help would be great
