  5. im still keen on going a low K FG box would it be worth just pulling it down and putting exedy clutches in (just the 600 ones) with low Ks everything else should be ok and I dont want to rebuild the motor so 440rwkw would be the max it may ever see
  6. I called and asked but ..... "the dyno broke" and apparently my info got wiped ... not sold on that hey but autotech are a reputable shop so hopefully nothing suss here im gonna run it on another dyno before I replace converter and box then go back on both and compare

  8. no wierd noises really I want to get a very low K fg box snd converter and put that in see how it goes I cant afford a full rebuild at this point ...
  9. 317 on 98 ... I know autotech are good. I could have had it tuned for half the price 5 mins from my house but I wanted it done by autotech because they have such a good rep... yeah I think im going to sort the box and converter then re run it and drag it ... still a let down and not knowing is driving me mad

  12. I looked on CMS' website and they recommend no zf tune and also dont modify the valve body ... but what about shot peened and cryo treated shafts are they really going to be strong enough ?

  14. yeah when picked it up I said I was expecting a lot more... spiro said he thinks mine has a stallie or converter problem ... I think converter problem if anything because it was stock when I bought it with a lot of Ks
  15. yeah to be honest I was expecting a lot more ... a bit of a let down really has anyone got suggestions why ? my camera is sh*t so ill try get a pic, with a diff camera, of the dyno graph today maybe my auto is letting me down ?
  16. tuned at autotech made 353rwkw on e85 @ 18psi parts list plazmaman 800hp Intercooler kit and piping,plazmaman valve springs, xforce 4"dump and 3.5" exhaust, walbro 460lph fuel pump , 1000cc inj, turbo ex ported and 12psi turbosmart actuator, xcal4. plazmaman battery and 4" intake .

I have a bf mk2 xr6t I bought it with 220000 ish K's and proceeded to add xforce exhaust , plazmaman 800hp I/C kit and cold air intake and air box , plaz valve springs 1000cc injectors walbro pump and got it tuned on e85 at autotech on tuesday made 353 rwkw . Spirp seems to think I might have an aftermarket stallie but I think maybe its just flogged out ? but we both wanted more power from 18psi or there abouts anyway the real problem I am having is full noise 3rd to 4th seems to slip hard and go to limiter slipping 3rd WONT go 4th lights on the dash come up and speedo drops out ??? back off and gear indicator drops back to 3rd and lights go off , speedo stays dropped out until cycling the ignition . do I need a rebuild ? thanks everyone

  24. nice what centre bearing is that ? the old guy was saying they made 4" x .085 for a hr with a 350 chev for drag racing seems over kill now
  25. I was chatting to an old guy today who used to build tail shafts for trucks and anyone who wanted them built, drag cars etc... anyways he was telling me they would up the diameter to cope with higher speeds and the thickness for higher hp ... what sizes are people using for their cars ?
