  2. I thought I would replace that seal where that pipe goes in with the bracket! I read somewhere on the site they just pull the pipe out enough to replace seal!! Have tried, it will not move?I didn't think it would No where for it to move. Sorry wrong hole. Sorry lads.
  3. That single pipe ,that has the one bolt , on the bottom housing. &how do I turn off simple functions on taptalk.??
  4. Hey there ,been looking before every start up, it's always wet on the bottom of the housing? Have had it pressure tested ??was told no leak! Has been this way for about 2 months when I first noticed coolant dripping a little bit under the car.
  5. Hey all, Happy long weekend. Have a leaking seal in housing, pretty sure it's leaking from coolant pipe. Have tried removing pipe too replace this seal, But cannot move it?? Any pointers would be appreciated.

  8. I do have a few burning questions. I need a few answers to. Regarding my f6 auto. Was trying to keep things as stock as possible, regarding mods ,&tune so I went with just a stage 1 plaz piping kit.venom cat& cat pipe &middle muffler delete. Then drove 4 hrs to get my car tuned. My question is was told the fg f6's don't need the plugs re gaped , like the ba's .We did 4 runs on the dyno , and they had trouble with controlling the boost.was told it was because of the hi/flowcat & pipe.And iam going to have to do the flapper mod. To control the boost . which I didn't really want to do. Still has stock injecters &cooler. Cars been limited to 5200 rpm. To stop over boosting, any one got any thoughts on this. Or had a similar situation happen.

  12. Anyone know roughly what power levels standard excedy clutch will take before starts slippin on a ba 5speed with 280kw.
  13. My ba xr6turbo is just making 285klw with just a basic pod filter intake &a few other mods.My question is,I can get a pw under battery cai fairly cheap.will there be much of a performance difference if I go with a turbo side setup.
  14. Once bitten twice shy...I'll try&find out where the fumes are coming from fix it &let sprio take it from there .He has quoted me $1100 for hp tune,money is tight so hopefully he doesn't have to straightin to much out before he can tune her.?

Got a new venom cat& cat pipe 5 months ago &new rear muffler to go with pw stage 2intercooler.took me another 4months before I could get it tuned .got it tuned with vcm,he never touched the boost &a week later it came up with fault code failed wastegate closed &a throttle fault code? I have changed the o2sensor as well 3weeks ago &the fumey smell started not long after that.car still runs pretty well but starts breaking down underload around 4rpm when ya put the boot in a.taking it to spiro at autotech next month, he told me not to do a thing to it till he has a look which makes me feel confident about him sorting out my car,from the last tune!haven't had much success gettin it running sweet.
  16. [emoji17] have a baxr6turbo. Has been tuned bigger injectors.!sum times on startup it revs to 3to3.5rpm then the motor stalls.&its getting very fumey also on startup &driving. I have fitted a new cat months ago so hopefully its not dead. Had the guys at work scan it,came back with failed wastegate closed &throttle in limp mode with a number I think .where do I start! Have to try&sort it out before I take it up to autotech for a retune on the 21th next month.

    North.spark pluks were never regapped before tune! If I was to fit pre gapped plugs now would it affect the tune?

    A 2&a half hour drive up the coast to cms not so bad nice drive.must say she pulls pretty hard of the line then dies in the arse ,butkeeps blown off the intercooler pipe on the cross over .

    Hey that's a fair call,better to be a bit cautious then over the top.As yet I haven't done value springs yet.Being a novice with turbocharged cars!what does the dyno tell the trained eye about the tune I posted.

    I thought so hey.I will be going up to autotech in Granville Sydney to get done again.so sick of people down here on the south coast nsw who take ya money &have no idea.
