  1. Followed a Mondeo XR5 turbo today, in silver. I must say it's drop dead gorgeous and puts Holden's Daewoos to shame. I want one !
  2. and why oh why, I'm sure it's happened to all, that as soon as we destroy some tryhard commyrexmitsuexcel and back off to keep under the speed limit, they come flying past at warp speed as if to say, wow gee see I beat you....tossers....

    Hrt/toll Hsv

have to say, I'm glad that HRT and Toll have been re-instated. Nothing will give me more pleasure than seeing Craig kick their collective butts all over the race track....
  4. looks great chooch with the black Monza unit, bit less obvious with the stock crossover than the red version if you get pulled over ! I reckon plenty of T owners will follow this idea....
  5. hey crans, I had mine the wrong way 'round...thanks for the pics and showing me the light - had the filter on the side of the BOV instead of the end. Funny though, didn't seem to make any difference getting it right !
  6. for the money, way better than stock. Had my Monza cooler for a year, no probs with 10psi edit. For a fairly tight modification budget (now if only I could sell the kids) for sure there are better coolers but sheesh I can think of better things to spend the extra $500 that other coolers may cost....
  7. yeah the tututu is pretty awesome, I'll see if I can record it, thanks for the comments....
  8. I know mods to the standard BOV have been done but thought I'd throw in a pic of my own. Venting the standard BOV has raised questions, will it won't it suck unfiltered air. Added this Monza filter (from stoopidcheep autos) and the sound on backoff is heaps nice n ricey without the worry of sucking in crap. Not sure if this would fit with the stock crossover. For $15 including the rubber plug to blank off the intake pipe tis good value compared to IMHO the overpriced aftermarket units. A question, I've seen pics posted with the filter on the other end of the BOV - have I got this the wrong way around???
  9. hey there boost 69, had my ex chaser for a while now, no probs at all apart from a loose headlight chrome ring - Ford replaced the whole unit under warranty. Love the extras that come with this package. Hear stories about how hard cop cars are driven but how many on this forum can honestly say they don't give their own car a good caning every chance they get (I know I do !). Was cheaper than privately owned and spent the savings on some engine mods.
  10. agreed that the 27mm bar makes a huge difference, put in last week, easy as....have heard that changing the rear one makes the arse end too stiff and over-steery....anyone done this mod?
  11. Macarthur Ford Campbelltown- absolutely fantastic. Courteous and all probs I've had under warranty fixed, no questions asked, even a new set of plugs to cure 1 dud one. They didn't mind the bigger cooler or CAI either.

    Flat Earth

soon, the nice man in the white coat is coming to take me away.... http://pw1.netcom.com/~rogermw/square_earth.html hey if I gun the T really hard I wonder how far out into space I can jump?
  13. Kelly is lucky we live in a civilised country....if he was a soccer player methinks he could be swinging from a short rope on a long tree by now...but it's not just him but the whole Expensive Daewoo team fraternity that has both Ford and Expensive Daewoo fans feeling that potentially the best race for many years has been taken away from us....

    Karate

hey sly, glad you like GKR, my young bloke and I are both blue belts in this style. We are competing in the state tournament next Sunday at Five Dock, might see you there!
  15. been researching the same thing too. There are adaptors that fit between the oil filter and filter mount. Speco I think, on their web site. These have 2 outlets so u can run both temp and pressure gauges without interfering with the original dashboard sensor. Thinking about going this route.
