  1. Sometimes it's easier just to fix something rather than hassle other people about it, even if it is their fault. The way I see it, I'd rather just fix my gate and be done with it, knowing that it is done properly. It would be a different story if I had to pay for it.
  2. Yeah nah, I ain't about to be making my life and theirs hard for a principle. They made a mistake and I fixed it. Job done.
  3. Mate if I could get a grand for running a few beads on an old gate, I'll take up mobile welding lol. It's all sorted so no need to worry about it anymore.
  4. Missus lubed my arms with don't be a pussy gel and my gate is hung like a horse, good enough for me
  5. Using my generator and gasless mig to put my gate back on, cos the shed guys don't understand that it only opens one way. I've got all the spicy arms from weld spatter with no gloves or shirt.
  6. I watched a movie called "The Substance". Get it in ya
  7. Just a place servicing can take place out of the sun
  8. Meh I don't actually give a fark, just calling carnts out lol, nothing actually helpful In other news, cos I CBF posting elsewhere, the shed is getting there. The builder has personal issues, so the build is a bit slower than it could have been. I stood under the insulated roof today, farken game changer
  9. These are people that have been openly hostile to me on this forum, so fark em.
  10. Haha funny to see people workshop hopping and paying an arm and a leg for the trouble...all with ordinary results.
  11. Moar shed
  12. Just a reminder that a manual transmission is for tractors and people's cars that have a flat battery or a farked starter motor
  13. There's plenty of info on here how to fit a 460. For the amount you're gonna get shafted by Repco, you may as well get a drop in unit from eBay. While we're here, you could just drill some holes through the top of your burnt pot, run some 6mm wire through to the already installed pump and silicone it shut around the wires. You'd just use the relay output to go straight to the pump, instead of the connector. Easy as with some spade connectors etc. Still gotta run the connector for the fuel level sender. There's plenty of ways to go about it, just gotta juggle the options and see what's best for you.
  14. For now you might get away with replacing the 525 for a 460. It won't melt the wiring like that. Can get whole pump and pot assemblies from eBay for about $400. Just drop it in and go.
  15. They do and iirc it's nowhere near enough
  16. In this case op should use the correct gauge wiring to the pump, whether half assed through the top of the pot or with a proper surge setup. I wouldn't bother trying to use the stock connector, more than likely it will burn out.
  17. Fairly sure I posted a picture as well, that's some solid searching though
  18. I've already documented this in my territory thread
  19. Maybe the fuel pump is on its way out.
  20. Apparently it might rain later tonight, there's a band of cloud and rain coming from the west. One can only hope.
  21. I'll take one when I'm not dead and the atmosphere isn't on fire. Got to 46C today and is still sitting at 45C.
  22. Shed has footings, power runs are back down to $100 and I'm sick as a dog. Fun times
  23. You could try dropping them to 16psi and see if it hooks up again. Are there any bushings that have deteriorated that could let the diff move around a bit? That would make you lose grip easier, as would worn suspension. I run a bit over 40psi for highway driving with low profile tyres.
