  1. I'm pretty sure all three parts are different between the bf and fg, though I could be remembering wrong. I called Venom before xmas and the bloke I spoke to was more than happy to discuss everything with me. I only pointed out the negatives earlier (before my morning coffee) and I forgot to add that ground clearance is as good as it possibly can be and I haven't had any issues whatsoever with height. I had no trouble aligning bolt holes and getting everything tight. The heat shield interference can be easily fixed with a blowtorch and ball-pein hammer with no ill effects to performance. It makes a nice whistling sound too if that's your thing.
  2. I recently bought one for my bf and it hits on the steering heat shield. Welds and pipe lengths leave a lot to be desired internally where the 2 pipes join to the 3.5 inch pipe. Apart from no clearance with the heat shield it fitted up without any hassle.
  3. That's a 700 litre deep freeze. Another Gumtree bargain.
  4. The guy said he only bought it last year and had only cut about 10 tonne of wood with it. I tried it out this morning and it started first pull and just idled perfectly. I cut up a tree that I had pulled out last week with the 4x4 and it runs great. I payed just under half new price.
  5. Well I bought a new second hand chainsaw today. A husqvarna 460. I'm looking forward to saving some money on firewood in the next couple of years.
  6. Went for a drive through the Clare Valley. Ended up behind a fg f6. They gave it stick when turning right. I forgot to turn my tc off and felt like it lost 200rwkw. Oh well, still was fun.
  7. I might try it but the nearest united servo is about 45 minutes away. Also it is a fair bit of stuffing around if the ethanol loosens crap up in the lines or tank and blocks stuff up.
  8. Lol cheers. It should be ok barring any major lean outs. It is a 2007 model.
  9. Hello All, I've been lurking for a few months. I bought my mk2 bf xr6t about 12 months ago. It was "stock" when I bought it. When I checked it actually had an "8psi" tune in it. I've swapped a bunch of stuff and made it go better as is the norm. For now it has a $1k venom front pipe and cat. I chucked in some bosch "1000" injectors, a walbro from the "other" car, a turbosmart 12 psi actuator, an air filter and a 300x600x100 bar and plate intercooler. There was fitting involved. It has some cheap assed piping in there too. I've scaled the injectors to work pretty good. It seems to take the normal timing and loads up to 20 psi then drops to the 17 psi commanded. A big thanks to the tuners and knowledgeable people on here that shortcutted my learning curve to this ecu with hp tuners. It sure as hell is not like a live tuning ecu.
