  1. Cleaning bulking is eating maccas in the shower
  2. If a knock sensor becomes unplugged it will automatically pull all the available timing the tune will allow. In some cases this can be as much as 14 degrees so you end up running only a couple of degrees timing. This is something you can log with a scanner or a ford specific tuning solution. You really need to go to a shop that can properly diagnose and fix the car. Throwing parts at it and hoping it fixes it is not how you go about things.
  3. Did meal prep on the weekend, back to eating rice veg and various meat. This one is completely home made chicken curry, with rice and veg, not the most glamorous but it does the job.
  4. Nope not made up, legit small ass fluffy farken dog, piss bolting down the road after a dude on a Harley. Dog had to be going 35 to 40kph lol. The hound in question gave up the chase as I pulled towards the intersection, it trotted my way but fortunately I was ahead of it, as I pulled into a side street. In my rear view mirror I watched a car dodge the errant escapee, as I continued to the bus stop to pick up my kids from school. I sat there in my car, a 1993 Honda Integra, with the aircon running and noticed another parent pull up behind me to pick up her kid. Again, in the rear view mirror, I saw the same dang dog standing up against the dash, boinging merrily, from the lady's passenger seat. After she retrieved her kid and as she walked past, I asked her if she had an escape artist. She said she did, that the dog liked to chase motorcycles and that she saw it narrowly escaped being skedaddled twice. I replied that I saw the whole thing, corroborating her story, and she indicated that she still had a high heart rate, and said she was still mildly flustered over the incident. Finally I said that it was understandable to feel that way, after all I had seen the event play out. We said our goodbyes and we went our respective and seperate ways.
  5. Just saw a miniature poodle chasing a harley down the main street
  6. Yep shouldn't take long.
  7. There are downsides in some cases, but for the most part you can just use 2 pumps and be done with it.
  8. Thanks, if it wasn't this car it would be another and if it was 200 years ago I would be feeding steroids to my horse and putting wider wheels on my wagon.
  9. Got back in the gym, it's been a while. Can still bench bw (115kg) for reps, not behd. Can squat bw for 10 reps, meh not behd, not great though. Roughly 60% of the same time last year 😐 Be happy to deadlift 220kg this Xmas, see how it goes.
  10. Use a fuel pump flow calculator. E85 and boosted are the options you need to tick.
  11. Elixir fuel pumps are pricey but flow all the fuel. https://www.facebook.com/ElixirPowered/
  12. Which one? I will more than likely have something lying around that you can have.
  13. Looks like you got lucky, most of the time the tabs break off. Back together, make sure stuff is lined up and you'll be sweet. Good job on the disassembly, most folks wouldn't be able to.
  14. A workshop can order that pulsar chra for you and that way the work is warrantied. If you supply a core and a week or month later it's stuffed, you'll have no recourse. Another thing to add, is to remove the turbo oil filter from the block fitting and install an aftermarket oil feed line. It's possible the stock one got a bit blocked and caused or contributed to the failure. I would help you out but I'm about a 10hr drive away.
  15. Yep it comes apart. With enough googling you'll work it out. Here's a pic of a torque converter installed all the way. I took it out the trans and installed it again, it took quite a few tries to get it in right. If the converter spigot isn't inside the bell housing, it ain't past the inner pump gear. I can say with 99% certainty (internet diagnosing aside) yours was not all the way in.
  16. If you take the turbo off and remove the core, a turbo shop will charge about $1000 to replace the bearing and balance the turbo. After that you can reassemble it and it'll be done.
  17. The tabs were what was preventing the engine spinning, as the converter was pushing them into the back of the pump. The might not be completely snapped off but there is a good chance they are still farked, also the back of the pump might have dents or scratches in it now which is no bueno. As for the converter being in the trans properly, I would reevaluate how you checked it, this exact scenario has been played out by thousands of people before and the symptoms and outcomes are all the same.
  18. You could pull a pump assy out of a na trans and use that.
  19. Lifted a weight, still strong 💪 Not sure there will be progress on the yearly 1rm this year cos I've been training beers instead of weights. Will give it a crack, might be something left in this old man lol
  20. You'll find out everything you need to know from that youtube channel, he has several zf6 disassembly videos. If you forget the order of parts, ask a question. I can direct you to several places that show an exploded diagram or other assembly processes.
  21. The converter isn't in properly and is jammed on the trans pump inner gear. Usually when you do that and bolt the trans fully in, it will snap the tabs off the gear. Trans out, converter out, inspect the gear.
  22. One month left until tune prices go back to normal for forum members. Don't contact me for a tune because the credits are nearly $300 and I don't wanna tune cars for $20 lol. Ask me after Xmas so I can afford my usual mi goreng for breakfast 🥞
  23. Turbo territory in today for engine mounts. Got em done, I'm happy and customer very happy. When you actually know what you're doing and aren't just marketing to people, it's a win win.
