  1. Woohoo it's not raining and cold today in Adelaide!
  2. If your child is being bullied at school then the school needs to and will remove the offending children from the situation in an appropriate manner. You need to escalate the problem through the right channels. If there is physical contact involved then this will happen immediately. Source: wife is a teacher. Self defense is great for anyone. It increases self esteem, sometimes helps with general fitness and flexibility and helps with self control.
  3. It's funny what they come out with Ralph. Mine have very good memories and frequently tell me something that happened a year or two ago like when one of our chickens carked it or when we went fishing and a pelican ate his fish.
  4. Don't worry, I got this. I gave my son a stern talking to. I'm content to bitch about it here then settle it like an adult with the kids parents when I see them at school on Monday. I'm trying to teach my kids, and hopefully the neighbors will teach their kid, that bullying is not acceptable. If I go next door and bully them then what kind of example am I setting for everyone involved?
  5. Good to hear. Much better ways to die than by motorcycle, like old age for example.
  6. I high sided on wet grass once at 5kph or so. That sucked. Sounds like you got out lucky.
  7. Something like that. I was watching them from the house before this all started and I let it play out until I had to intervene. My yard is fully fenced so the boys can come and go as they please. The neighbours is open to 2 street frontages. I was mad that my harmless little 3 year old was being bullied by much more mentally developed kids.
  8. What a lying sack of mouldy spuds. I had some unholy rage earlier when the neighbour's 5 year old kid was standing at the fence telling my 4 year old to flog the hell out of my 3 year old. It's not the first time he has egged him on over the fence either or been unsupervised in the street. My older boy started wailing on the younger one and I yelled loud enough that I know the parent next door heard it. My boys stopped dead in their tracks and the other kid bolted. I heard the neighbour's door open and I don't blame them for not sticking their head over the fence to see what the matter was. My younger boy wouldn't hurt a fly and if he gets picked on I see red real quick. Fekkn grrrr All good now though
  9. Just googled it. I see what you mean about seafood heaven.
  10. It's a nice drive between Cairns and Port.
  11. Mine fell out my tracky dack pocket onto the driveway one day onto some bark chips off to the side without me realizing. I arrive home and being bit of a turkey some days I was like, yeah I'll pull a skid up the driveway....straight over the phone. Turns out the phone was untouched even though the car spat it out the back. I thought for sure it was a gonner. Must be the new 3310 of Samsungs.

A few years ago in WA my powerfc detected no knock with bp98, 20-40 knock counts with shell98 which isn't huge and certain united was unusable unless I tuned the car differently. Not that a powerfc is a standardized testing unit but with enough driving and logging it gave me some idea about what fuel supplie I decided to stick with.

There is obviously enough fuel in it up top so that the extra oxygen in the fuel still keeps the afr safe.

The car pulls timing when it detects knock and returns it when it is no longer present. What I meant from my comment is I wonder if it knocks on 95.

Not FG but meh. Quote from a BF2 owners manual, "Premium unleaded petrol with a minimum octane rating of 95 (RON) is recommended for use in XR6 Turbo and XR8 vehicles for maximum performance". Maybe someone has a log of what the pcm does to timing under full load if 95 is used?
  18. The old rotors were a bit stuffed. I'll just post pics of one side cos; a: it looks the same anyway and b: I've only done one side cos I had to get the boy from school. Removed old rotor and cleaned the hub with emery tape. Gave the rotor a quick clean, measured runout (0.01mm) then put the caliper back on.
  19. A big thanks to @JETURBO for hooking me up with these and saving me more than a few dollars.
  20. If there's smudge marks on my rotors I'll be wearing gloves when I fit them. Now I'm scared...
  21. It feels good to get a "new" car.
  22. Mmm twin plate. Full of grabby goodness. Lol the warnings, did you use lifting aids?
  23. Looks pretty good there fluff. I used the same colours for a water and chalk piece a while back.
