  1. Too old for wristies at night, cbf'd.
  2. Yeah Keith it is. I had to post something whilst visiting the crapper. Now the wife is tired so I have the age old question... Go to bed and get some (if I'm lucky) or stay up and watch Netflix alone. A man needs his alone time. To be or not to be....

  4. Dinner time then Netflix. Inb4 apocalypse hits the forum.
  5. Well if god made my car axle tramp then why don't I have a diff bush tree in my backyard to fix it then?
  6. I had a couple of older ladies knock on my door today trying to give me a watchtower pamphlet. I respectfully declined and after they cooed over my daughter's lovely curly hair they went on their way, promising to try again in a few months. In other news after my car axle tramped like a bitch at the drags the other day it has picked up a nasty vibration when taking off. Looks like I'll be jacking it tomorrow and getting dirty...the car that is

  9. Although looking at the hardware this may be obvious, the data points to what looks to be airflow restrictions. Due to that, there is an excess of heat being produced and as such can't turn it up a hell of a lot or it just knocks. I think the sweet spot on my combo is somewhere around 12 psi even though I can get more into it by pulling timing but as you know that just makes it worse. It'll make the boost, I've seen plenty in the middle and still a lot up top when tuning but it can't handle any timing when wound right up. I think this points to an exhaust restriction more so than intake.
  10. They bite harder than the stock stuff and fade less from the high speed stops. I don't have to press the pedal as hard to get it to pull up now. Stopping from 180 today or whatever it was felt like there was still plenty left in the brakes.
  11. Ay on the plus side those brakes pulled me up without a hassle
  12. I guess I really need to get the exhaust and intake sorted then to make the most of things. After every burnout my lifters were pumped up and the car was missing so it looks like valve springs are on the list too. I was in scrutineering right at the back when the dude hurt his ankle so I had to wait either way. I thought that I could pay on my card being 2016 and all but had to go to Burton after discovering this was not the case. Mine was the black ford anyway.
  13. Some people didn't get theirs. @JETURBO were you there? I don't know what you look like so I couldn't have spotted you anyway.
  14. Lol yeah I was a bit nervous too.

  17. Went to AIR (drags) today. Being a complete noob the first run I launched in 2nd and did a 12.8 @ 115. Second run launched in 1st with a few psi and did 12.5 @ 113 with it breaking down (crap valve springs) on the 2-3 shift. 1.9 60ft. Third and final run I removed the air filter and launched it at about 12 psi in first. It axle tramped like crazy and when I got back into it the intercooler pipe came off. 23 @ 60 or something like that. I think some repairs are in order and see about doing a better job next time!
  18. Banner you say?
  19. Heh I should go read them!
