  1. All good. 70 imho is getting too cold though. Aaronm is on the money.
  2. The coolant temp correction will (bloody well should) be tuned to take care of this. Edit: Agree on fan tuning though
  3. Fuel consumption is tune related not temp related, but the tune is temp related so it affects the fuel consumption if that makes sense. All things being right nothing drastic would change by heating your engine up a few degrees.
  4. You are smart for doing it in safe areas and lucky you didn't get caught.
  5. Mine sits at a third and goes to just under half when sitting. One thing I picked up over the years is don't trust a factory sender for diagnosis especially temp senders and oil switches. A motor can be too hot by the time it goes up and there could be not enough oil well before the light comes on.
  6. Sounds like the thermostat was sticking initially and once replaced acted like a thermostat should. @ROB83R 70 to 90 is just fine for an alloy/cast motor. Don't go colder, you'll run into several issues, while not major, will decrease engine life and increase fuel consumption. On that note don't flog ya car until it's warmed up!
  7. How the fark would sticking food in le butt help? What thought process does that even involve? Smh You know that at least one beer is going to be wasted tonight.
  8. You could try booting the hdd from your pc, it may give better results or offer other recovery options. All you need is a sata cable and you can copy it to your desktop. If there isn't a spare power cable in your pc then just use the power from your optical drive. No need to pay someone for this, it's easy. If you need help I'm happy to post pictures and instructions etc.
  9. When I lost power this morning my pc wouldn't output via the displayport cable for some reason. Out of range it said. I plugged the hdmi cable in and when it booted up there was no bios screen and no icons on the desktop. After some head scratching I realized that the screen had split because 2 cables were plugged into the monitor and I was seeing the right half only. A few clicks and a hurdur or two later all was back to normal. I've had stuff like that happen when pushing an oc too far. It seemed I was rooted, no recovery options etc but I shart you not, I just turned it on and off a bunch of times and it just booted up.
  10. Ffs the power just went out for a minute and now my phone line is dead so no freaking internet. First world problems.
  11. Morning all. @k31th who's been posting on my behalf?
  12. Nope, more like an ironic interpretation of how long it takes to fix the local road after flooding. Brb registering my 4x4.
  13. Where we're going, we don't need roads.
  14. I just googled "messy train" for a sweet meme for Mattyp. Apparently I shouldn't google "messy train".
  15. I felt the same until recently. Just try again and it will click eventually.
  16. I don't know man. Just clean it up and find the wet spot. Ps: That Mattyp dude can load my dishwasher lol
  17. It's hard when it's winter cos it's too cold to go nakey. I started taking him on Friday every 15 minutes, all day long, and cleaned many wees and several poos off the floor. Come Saturday, the wife was home and we had success with weeing and pooing. Sunday it clicked and he told us every time he needed to go. Yesterday was good and today was good too. I can't believe it! Only thing left is perfecting the butt wipe and we're done! Just make sure you don't yell or ridicule about accidents and be patient. Sorry for the long ass post but you'll get there.
  18. Nope. It's gotta go choo choo choo choo. But depending on the issue it may need to have some heat in it and it may need some revs. Like @arronm said it could appear in seconds.
  19. WMMFG! I toilet trained my youngest son last weekend! When I checked on him this afternoon to make sure it was all going well he said, "I just gotta wipe my butthole"! Lmao and thank feck I don't have to change any more yuuuuuge nappies any more.
  20. Short version: Clean oil, start motor and wait for oil to appear. Better?
  21. Take a breath mate. Degrease it all, top your fluid up and start it up with the bonnet open. Give it a few minutes then have a look and see if it's obvious. If nothing is pissing out then take a lap around the block, come home and find where the leak is. It may be a simple fix that you can solve in your driveway/shed.
  22. Trust me, I do, when I cbf'd.
  23. So keif....howzabout fixing the forum then?
