Maintain it, leave it stock, don't thrash it and you will have the minimum of issues. Going fast can be addictive and you may want to double your power or more. Stock parts don't like that much. This is where you will spend big.

Yep that's the one. I can't wait to try it on some ribs soon.

Ordered a diff bush tool today. I probably should have bought it a few weeks ago. Also bought some of that hickory honey bbq sauce from Costco today. Cheers @Rab for the idea

I'm used to driving long distances mate. Plenty of good hills roads from Gawler to Auldana. If you're on Magill Road then you may as well go for a cruise up the old Norton Summit Road, through Cherryville, down Montacute Road, down Corkscrew Road then uturn at the Gorge Road and do it all in reverse.

Har har har drunk farkers. Many years ago I ran over a huge frigging puddle aka flooded road one day and got a few liters of water in the fuel tank. Same symptoms but probably not the cause of op's issue. Was fun diagnosing that one though.

Lemme know when you're heading up and I'll come up too.

What made me mildly irritated. It was the missus last day at work yesterday so I drove her to her hospital appointment this morning. Something to do with pregnant chicks and sore pelvis's and not liking walking or driving?! All good, whatever, the inlaws can watch the boys for us. Left the house at 8am and got to the hospital in time for her "9am" appointment. 10:30am rolls around and someone comes out and tells us "Sorry, the doctor called in sick at 9am so you'll have to come back on Monday. I then proceed to drive us an hour home with our cranky 1yo daughter telling me all about it.

That would probably work Rob. I chose the one I did because I knew that the fittings would line up perfect and do it without any hassle. I considered making one but to copy this you'd need some measuring tools, a plasma cutter, lathe and decent workbench at the very least or be willing to spend a couple of days with lesser tools stuffing around. Of course all one really needs is a fine thread clamp and various pipe offcuts. I'm over struggling with stuff hence buying the "right" tool for the job.

My tool turned up today for the ball joints. Even though it was over $300 most of that butthurt evaporated when the remaining ball joints just popped out and went back in like nothing. The top The bottom

Glad you got it sorted. Now to enjoy your new car!

Morning folks. Anyone want 3 whinging kids? After seeing half a dozen huge tiger sharks following a prawn boat waiting for fish to be chucked back, I decided that I'd be better off staying somewhere that I couldn't be completely eaten in minutes.

Fair enough.

I just typed "bf turbo clutch kit" into ebay. I wonder where the $2000 figure came from? Edit: Considering ford wanted over $500 for a genuine plastic transmission pan I guess the figure originates there somewhere.

I have a theory which I call fact. A shark is named as such because when one comes up for a nibble you say "sh*t fark". Put them together and you get "shark".

Just go swimming then mate. It's not that cold. I reckon I'll be down the beach soon doing some crab raking.

That's sucks mate. I can only really reiterate what has been said. Ring around and find someone that will do it for a reasonable price. Call your insurer but I know mine wants the whole year paid before they come to the party. A year up front plus excess could be a grand anyway. Then there's the whole no claim bizzo. You really gotta just call them. Mine will pay for damage though even if I roll it when off road 4x4ing. Good luck man, you should find someone that charges reasonably though. Let us know how you get on.

I'm lifting on concrete currently. I just make sure I lower the bar slowly so I don't destroy anything.

Well, my ball joint tool is arriving tomorrow. Finally I can get my car off the axle stand and go for a drive! I always joke to the father in law that I'll have some job for us to do when he comes over. They are arriving tomorrow around lunch time and that's when the mail arrives too. Looks like we'll be fixing my car

A good way I found to get things done is to just do it anyway and keep doing it until it becomes habit until you don't need motivation. It becomes habit after a while and the walls/procrastinating thoughts we build up in our mind fall down when we can see how easy things are to achieve over time.

I'm fairly pleased and a little surprised with the progress but it has been hard. Some days it SUCKS!!!! I tracked my macros religiously for a while and bought a 20kg bag of whey powder to get more protein at the cost of lower carbs. The powder was about $300 delivered iirc.

Lol apparently I've shrunk since the last time I measured myself years ago. I'm 182cm. I'm pretty sure I could lose between 10 and 15 kg body weight and it wouldn't affect my lifts.
