Yep. No doubt there are false knock readings that can be tuned out with the knock maps using knock ears. You'd have to be mad to let the car be able to pull any less than 6 degrees with 98 octane imo.

It wouldn't help anything. No offset means that as soon as you turn on the headlights your car leans out slightly. Imagine what would happen if you had a fully sick stereo uley.

Except when the tune has been set up to only pull a max of one degree of timing.

Smh. Whoever tuned that car needs a slap to the back of the head. Imo removing knock protection (1 degree won't do anything) is a deliberate action to cause thousands of dollars of damage to your car.

Wpmo, the bank decided to randomly take an abritary 5xxx deduction from our redraw in our loan account and although I explain how much redraw there was and what I have deposited this week they still fail to listen to my actual words and just repeat my (incorrect) account history to me. They cant comprehend that I'm telling they have made a mistake and that the account figures are incorrect. After a phone call from the wife, me addressing the phone call, a 80km round trip to the bank with a new born and a 30 minute conversation with an equally clueless cashier we finally had it escalated to the loan department. Dear Bank, I budget in excel and can tell you where cents were years ago. Don't ask me why I think I have money in my account and dont try to spend half an hour telling me I'm wrong! Insert David Cooper roar here.

I did some logging and tuning today in the 39 degree heat. I eventually turned it down a bit due to 98 octane not handling the current setup and environment. I know I should have it perfectly set up to deal with environmental changes but I have been either A) cbf or B) been busy with kids or C) cbf cos I've been busy with kids. So I adjust it as I go when I have the time/inclination. As some of you will know, I still have a stock cat back, stock intake and stock valve springs. The rest is good for plenty more. It can still run rich as fark (I checked) at 6k so the fuel is ok. Other news is that my intercooler runs a max of 20c over ambient under load. I logged the wg duty cycle and it needs 80% to keep 16 psi at 5k rpm. It seemed laggy too, making 16 psi at 3700rpm from a 3rd gear, 2200 rpm roll with no brake and 100% wgdc until 3600. I think I may have farked up my wg preload and it is getting blown open. I'll have a look at it over the weekend. Everyone in my house has gone to bed now so I'm really just making conversation as I'm interested in other people's thoughts, ideas, opinions and facts.
