  1. Are you running 2 gtx 690's bcb? How does that go on firestrike?
  2. Lol a miss under load can be many things and blow by is caused by a large ring gap. Good to see you got your car sorted @Roo32
  3. http://www.coolantexperts.com/coolant_overview/traditional_coolant Edit: check the bottle.
  4. Good job mate. You sure do have a way with smoking and bbqing.
  5. Holy cow @Rab your are either fat as me or feeding an army!
  6. Liked cos you're drunk. Edit: kinda shows what I was on about. Ninja edit: I like pies.
  7. The easiest way I know of making more psi on a turbo car is to pull the hose from the compressor housing. I don't recommend this however, this is bad, aka don't do it. What I do recommend is spending several days/weeks reading this forum and you will find your answers within. For decent results, you need to replace from the front to the back; intercooler and piping, turbo intake, injectors, valve springs, tune, dump, cat, fuel pump, exhaust. This will net you gains that most are happy with ie: mid to upper 300rwkw's. You can go further with e85 ie: over 400rwkw but are asking for a "baxrtuteing". After that it is turbo swap coupled with engine, trans and driveline building time if you want any hint of reliability. To answer your question outright about "giving it more psi" you just need a tune.
  8. @Ford Freak You are asking a quite simple question which is fine as we all start at the start with everything. You need to check out Linus Tech Tips on Youtube mate. Just search the channel content for your answers. From watching this channel and others like Jayztwocents, my interest was piqued to build a gaming pc that kicks ass like crazy for a just few thousand dollars including peripherals such as $800 monitor and ?$100 mouse (I already had a 500 year old keyboard and a large 5.1 speaker setup). Fwiw I run all of my fans from the mobo, including my cpu cooler. You could use a molex connector but generally you wouldn't.
  9. I don't claim to be an audio wizard but many years of guitar playing has shown me that if you crank the gain or the preamp you are more likely to end up with a distorted signal. Obviously with headphone out and line in applications this will be a trial and error exercise as there is no baseline to draw from apart from anecdotal evidence. I would suggest 70 to 80% input as a starting point barring any previous knowledge of the system.
  10. Lol mines not quite that long. I usually just swing it over my shoulder when I go but yeah.
  11. What bowl did you buy cos my cistern needs replacing and I'm in the market for a cistern at least but a new bowl would be great! #threadslongestsentence
  12. Bros I notice mess! Due to 5 years of role reversal I'm showing my wife just how much work goes into keeping a clean house with dinner on the table while looking after kids all day. Apparently it's not just "sitting around all day doing nothing". Lol she's on maternity leave right now and learning quickly. My toilet is always super clean cos my tip touches the bowl.
  13. Here ya go @ROB83R, have a couple on me.
  14. Pretty much. I've driven twice to Perth and once back. I can't see myself doing it again any time soon.
  15. I've got 2 now so I'm happy with that.
  16. Lol I was moaning about that last night. I don't really care but it was useful to have a number there to know I was logged in as me when I'm on mobile.
  17. Wmmfg. Turns out the cat had a baby in the last 48 hours. She was miaowing her arse out today and biting at me. Turns it she had her kitten in the spare room that we keep shut 99% of the time. Just one pure grey fluffy kitty. Maybe she'll have some more tomorrow or maybe she'll have just one. So cute!
  18. Fit it for sh*ts and gigs and see what you think. Some people don't want to cut their car up and end up paying more but may net greater results. I see their point. Other people don't give a sh*t and can pay less but never fit as much cooler underneath. I also see their point. Other cut and go custom but 99% don't. In the spirit of modifying with no regret and doing it right the first time, just do it right the first time despite higher initial cost. Ya can't go wrong when you buy the best (not that I do). Think long term.
  19. Goddamn which sumbitch checked my notifications?
  20. I pay less for my mortgage per week than most people working for the man earn in 2 days. Upsides; quiet, dark at night, stupid fast copper internet, no traffic lights, 1700 m block, close to racetrack, moto track and fishing/crabbing, it doesn't matter too much when the kids destroy the place, easy going police, 3 bedroom roof over head with necessities taken care of and Coles deliver. Downsides; overpriced everything, some khunts act like the rest of Australia doesn't exist and they're special for living in a small town, it takes half an hour to get to the hills, all the roads are straight, no 98 or e85. I could have bought a "better" place but with the money we're saving now it will contribute to our long term goals. I've lived in nice shiny places before buying and the roof, walls, stove and shower did the same thing as mine do now.
