  1. I reckon the drags will going by then but regardless I reckon a forum cruise means I can get them to the wear markers. There was nothing there a few weeks ago. I hope it is nothing though. Nek minute; (no pun intended) Puffwagon: "It's neck disease and they have to amputate". Forum: "Pics"?
  2. Apparently I'm not allowed to do a skid until the drags start again in Adelaide next year.
  3. My wife says she'll let you all know when I'm dead lol. Edit: She just asked what thread she should post it in.
  4. Haha it just might be! Although I had a bandaid on last night, the band aid shifted in my sleep it leaked all over my neck, chest and pillow. Gross.
  5. Nah no ticks where I live thank fark. I have been taking medication for high blood pressure lately and it is still quite high. The only thing I can come up with is that it is a venous ulcer. I'm booked into the gp tomorrow so I'll see what they reckon. It's only leaking about 0.25 mL/s so I should live. It still gets halfway down my chest in about 5 seconds though.
  6. I've had a little red mark on my neck about 2 mm in diameter for the last couple of weeks. I thought it may have been a pimple that was taking it's time coming up. I gave it a scratch last night and it started bleeding bright red blood. It leaked flat out for at least 15 minutes before it sealed up. I accidentally scratched it again and it leaked flat out again for another 15 minutes. I had to use a cloth to catch it as a band aid overflowed to start with. Now I'm sitting here with a lightning mcqueen band aid on my neck wondering if I got bit by a vampire. Wtf?
  7. Dem feels when k31th fixes it and it's stuck like that forever. What I did to my car today? Nothing, it's too hot to even go outside and look at it.
  8. Holy links batman! How many km's do you get on a tank of e85?
  9. I haven't but now that you mention it I will be sure to make some next time.
  10. Have you used them on your ford? It seems to me that my knock sensor maps are way out.
  11. Look after yourself, this is serious. My grandmother passed away from this disease a few months ago. I saw her the day before and it was farking horrible. She was all there mentally but suffering terribly. Don't be a hero and fix your car or mow the lawn. Get bored, get better and best wishes.
  12. Even if you only got 200 km from a tank driving from Murray Bridge and returning there via a hills cruise that should be doable. Maybe a jerry wouldn't go astray. Here is an example https://goo.gl/maps/n416vJPGSLT2 I added a stop at Magill as there was a shop there or something?
  13. Cooking a lamb curry tonight.
  14. I'm good thanks mate. I just finished my first beer. How's things over your way? Although there are pics online of your setup, I'm still keen to see yours anyway.
  15. There's one servo at Murray Bridge as far as I know and the rest are in the northern and western suburbs. It could be done if it was planned right but you'd pretty much have to start at Murray Bridge and end there unless you wanted to drive through the suburbs. That wouldn't be all that bad for the guys coming from interstate as it is closer to get to Murray Bridge from Melbourne and closer to leave. Edit: Here's that link again that shows where our e85 servos are http://www.raa.com.au/motoring-and-road-safety/fuel-information/e85-petrol

  17. Haha it was only 11:30 when I finished looking at the car this morning so it was "too early" for a beer.

Drill a hole in the middle of the bolt and unscrew it with an easy out. Use some wd40 or the like to help loosen it. Here's a tutorial
  19. Wpmo, Looking for a clunking noise under the back of my car and not noticing anything obviously rooted. I had the car up on stands with the missus loading it up in drive and reverse. I can feel the clunk on the subframe and the rear sway bar but not anything else under the car. It is only there when it goes from drive to reverse and vice versa or when accelerating and decelerating in first or second. Somethings farked and I can't bloody see what

Sounds like a job for an easy-out. Helicoils are for stripped threads. You might get lucky with enough of the bolt hanging out and loose enough to unscrew with vice grips or the like.
  21. This has some ideas about young people training. I'm sure that the references would yield some valuable information. http://www.ausport.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/145971/Article_weight_training_preadolescent_strength_training_Narelle_Sibte.pdf
  22. That looks a bit quicker than jacking it up and putting a couple of axle stands under it.
  23. I feel that lifting weights could be counter productive in some ways for basket ball. You need speed, agility and explosiveness in basket ball. While weight lifting will help with strength and explosiveness it can also cause mobility issues due to almost everyone's lack of stretching. While a young person may benefit from weight lifting if they are lacking strength, in this case I think sports specific training would be more beneficial. Of course if he wants to lift then just keep him safe and keep it light. Just my 2c. You're his dad so you know where he's at.
  24. Fark me those llit's kicked my butt. Time for bed lol.
