  1. I'd come and drink some. The wife is sleeping and told me not to wake her up with stuff that doesn't matter so I don't like my chances of arrival. Lemme try again in the morning lol.
  2. Roast chickens are 6 bucks. I'd eat one per day if I lived closer lol. I've saved several thousand since I've been a member. In saying that we home cook everything and spend less than $50 per month on takeout.
  3. I'm pretty sure male strippers are very well paid and also bang the hell out of the entirety of the female population of the party. At least that's what the internet told me so it must be true.
  4. Faceballs had a list from what I've heard. Most is cheaper but some is more dear in my experience. I know I've said this already but I'll say it again. I walk through the shop with the coles online catalogue open on my phone.
  5. Haha nek minute we see that Jet has collaborated with Aaronm, done a welding course or 3, bought a couple of welders and built his own turbo setup.
  6. Haha too true. My wife is changing our daughter as we speak.
  7. So yeah, in other news I'm looking to buy another house. It won't be for another 18 to 24 months, perhaps sooner if I don't spend more money on my car. I'm thinking it'll be in the Barossa Valley although I did find some suitable places around Mount Gambier. Obviously places for sale now may not be available then but I'll be keeping my eye on the market. This time I'll be aiming for 10+ acres and at least a 4 bed, 2 bath house. The missus suggested a road trip in October extending to the eastern parts of Victoria. My current house was/is just a stepping stone to get out of renting and I'll be glad to move to a nicer, more modern place. Edit: Awww look at dat widdle baby.
  8. I was teaching my wife to recognize a note and copy it yesterday. She started out by singing every note a fifth apart from me no matter where I went. It was hilarious to me at least that she could harmonize without being able to sing a nursery rhyme in tune. It took us just a few minutes to get her to hit the same note as me. Then she cracked the sh*ts and walked away. Learning new things can be like that I guess.
  9. Morning all or should I say afternoon. After politely doing my nut at some carnts across the road for their loud music, today is turning out alright. Hey K31th, if you can count to 12, understand algebra and aren't tone deaf then you can understand music. Some of us are born with musical ability or any ability for that matter, but all of us have to practice our arses off to get good.
  10. If I knew anyone here I'd be visiting in a heart beat. Literally the only person I've met in sa is jet. I spose I could rock up with maccas and vodka and hang out in his garage.
  11. I don't know K31th. I just kinda lost interest as I don't have anyone to watch it with. I like the idea of watching it but I'd have to hide myself away in the shed or something to get any time to myself.
  12. Ha I used to watch the cricket. I loved it. I haven't watched it in earnest for about 6 years.
  13. I think you've been watching too much cricket man.
  14. Does it? What does "puffy" mean lol?
  15. Haha not really. I've just changed my style, that's all.
  16. The word Puffwagon is clearly obvious in the context of this forum. We all have a car of some type that has a turbo puffing into it. Ergo, Puffwagon. There is however historical significance with the phrase in question. The word puffwagon actually has preceded the forum context I've provided and can be explained in the future if and when I decide. It's totally not exciting though and yeah....not exciting at all.
  17. Are you sure you're not the drummer?
  18. Like everything in life that has structure, there is a foundation. Without basic priciples and a solid foundation, nearly everything fails. Singing has a foundation and principles that apply across all genres. I don't care much for opera myself. I prefer 90's grunge and rock and of course the classics from the 50's onwards.
  19. Groove bro, groove. It's tongue and groove. Ps there's at least 2 nuts in a lesbian's bed cos neither of them have a dude so they must be nuts lol.
  20. Hey I've got an idea K31th. Fix your car! Cris, you can tell them how much I suck when we get into drunken singing in a few months if you end up staying at my place. In other news my 2 year old daughter called my wife a cow when she was breastfeeding the baby. She poked her in the boob and said "mumma a cow, moo". @ROB83R I've been watching Daniel Tompkins and Ashe O'hara for inspiration lately. I've been checking out this dude for tips as well as Ken Tamplin. The opera stuff has helped more than anything.
  21. I can tell when I can sing better just as you can tell when you can lift more weight. I'm not bragging about it, I'm just stoked that I made a breakthrough.
  22. Haha no. The amount of farks she gives about my music or cars can be counted on one hand. I have gained nearly an octave worth of chest voice. I can critique my own progress. It's super early days for the new found knowledge and ability and the muscles are underdeveloped still as I don't practice consistently any more. That means I can do it for a short time after a long warm up and probably only every second or third day at the moment. It still feels like an xmas present though. It has given me renewed faith (in my ability) despite not having picked up a guitar at all or sang much for nearly 4 years.
  23. I read some sh*t online and watched a couple of youtube clips. Over 20 years of practice previous.
