  1. Same day, different office. I'm in my dressing gown singing row your boat to the baby.
  2. I posted your thing today panda.
  3. I'd give you points for bravery k31th for staying with me through some of the twisties and a couple more for your reaction time and use of abs.
  4. Most of today's tyres are radials. Radial or crossply construction has little to do with grip or whether it is a legal street tyre. Agreed. There is a difference between states as to what is legal for street use. Almost all semi slicks are legal provided they meet the state laws and other associated characteristics shown in the link above. Is what I use whether it is an ordinary looking 235 or a legal low tread wear semi slick. The point I'm driving here overall is that you can't discount a "semi slick" as a street tyre as even that word has a very loose definition. At the end of the day a street tyre is what is legal in your area much the same as a 3500hp "street car" is legal to drive in various parts of the world.
  5. Street tyre you say? That has been defined for a while.
  6. I had an issue like that with bosch 3/4 size injectors with extensions to suit bf on No.1 injector I think. I had to remove the wire clip in the injector plug to let it seat properly. Luckily I noticed it after driving just a few hundred meters on a cold engine.
  7. Whatever floats ya boat man. Get the fg turbo, I think it'd be better for what you are using the car for plus it'd be a bit newer too probably.
  8. Buy that clutch we were talking about and drop your f6 stuff into the ba. You need a clutch for the f6 anyway, you need to repair the ba and you need a fast car that is registered. That's at least 3 birds with one stone.
  9. I pointed at your coolant line and it broke later that day, I spoke about not speeding and a cop was just around the corner 20 seconds later and finally I offered to sell you my turbo then yours broke. Bloody coincidences aye...why couldn't I have just won the lotto instead?
  10. I was dying mate. At first I couldn't work out why I was suffering cos it was only 27 when I got home at 10:30am. Then I came inside and found out why. Those beers we had probably didn't help.
  11. I tried to check out my car today for a front end knock earned on the cruise and by the time I jacked it up, put an axle stand under the front, taken a wheel off and had a quick look, I was sweating my arse out, so I went went inside and noticed it was 36 degrees at about 1pm today. I went inside, got changed (again), complained about the heat, went to the pub, bought stuff, came home and sat in the aircon. Did compulsory family/kid stuff and now I'm watching netflix. Hows that for motivation?!
  12. Sounds like a blocked return based on the info given unless it is plumbed to fark or sh*t is broken.
  13. Someone (K31th) lost a drag race with a kangaroo?
  14. Yeah mines like yours but has a smaller filter and it's in a box with the smaller battery. I might relocate the battery and get a bigger filter like yours later if it needs it. I haven't logged the ait's with or without a box with my current setup but it could only be better with a filter box especially when everything's insulated. All that sh*t heats up under the bonnet when you're just cruising around and pulling ambient temp air will cool it down pretty quick.
  15. I went from the stock crossover to 3 inch cool side. As such I had to use a cheap pod for a while straight off the turbo until my 4 inch cold side (odyssey battery, small filter, plazmaman box etc) turned up. The iat would get so hot with the pod that it would pull timing like no ones business and it wouldn't even run properly on 12 psi let alone 18 or so that it handles now. I'm not sure of the power gains but I think it would be in the 50 to 100 rwkw area in my case. That is based on how much boost it could take, not how much it could take on low boost. Yours would be less based on the example but there are gains to be had from insulating intake parts from engine bay heat. I've made (tiny) gains from a sock and leccy tape around a fuel line back in the day.
  16. It looks clean enough man and it's obviously functional. You should be able to pull a skid or two Maybe think about shielding that pod from the farken hot engine bay air and get it sucking from the front. It made a difference in my car.
  17. On mine it's between a third and a half.
  18. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of yesterday's footage.
  19. You guys chose the right day to head back. I've already seen a top of 39 degrees at my house today.
  20. Haha I was thinking that this very second mate. I'll be right up
  21. Piss takes aside, where the fark are you? I liked your review
  22. The comments point to the o2 sensor/s or a fark up in calculating. Instant fuel consumption can get very high. 1000cc or so injectors x 6 is 6 litres a minute at 80 to 100%dc. 99.9 L/H is tame. It's closer to 300 L/H which is where the gs34x runs out on our cars.
  23. Lets just say 25 reps turned into 5 reps. You'll get to see the glory of my fat guts in a couple of days. tomorrow.
  24. I tried benching the other day after 4 or so months of couching. It wasn't pretty.
