  1. The thing is that most people either can't do it themselves or can't justify the $500 to $600 a shop would charge to r&r the bumper assy etc, cut and shut and regas the system. If you already have the tools and know how to do it then great, I'd recommend it too. For everyone else a 5 minute bend job is sufficient. I for one dgaf what some piping hidden behind my bumper looks like.
  2. Cricketers Arms is ok if you can deal with the citrus flavours. At $20 a ten pack from Dan Murphys you can hardly go wrong.
  3. Get your measuring tape out man and see what you reckon. 100mm won't fit and 600mm won't fit either unless you get creative. Edit: Remember to include the extra length of the tanks, 600 is only the core length. Mine did not fit to start with. It fit's now though I only used it cos I had it there otherwise I may have done things differently. If money isn't an issue just pm @JETURBO and ask him if he won't mind sorting you out with a quality bolt in kit. I'd do that in a second but my mod budget was spent by the end of January or so
  4. Options are; Cut and shut, bend it or do nothing at all. My intercooler fits and my aircon works. Ignore old mate and his helpful comment.
  5. I have a bf and ran into the same issue. My cooler core is 600x300x100. I just bent them with the largest possible radius until it almost kinked and then stopped there. You will kink them if you aren't careful. Sorry no pic right now cos I cbf taking the bumper off.
  6. That looks like 20% to me. Just reading your initial post again it looks like you had a stock trans with a tune and then got it rebuilt without a retune? I think I may have incorrectly assumed you had it tuned after the rebuild. If this is the case then you should get it tuned for the hard parts as well as checking the speedo issue.
  7. I know. I was making a comparison. T4 bw might be your cup of tea. I'd choose a gtx42 myself just for cost efficiency.
  8. All good. It should just be tune related and can be fixed fairly quickly. It might help to measure the circumference of your rear tyre so the tuner has that info to double check stuff.
  9. You haven't changed wheels by any chance? Just take it back to the tuner and politely ask them to fix the job you paid for.
  10. Hallway
  11. The t3 bw is on par power wise with the bolt in gen2 gtx and the garrett is a grand cheaper just for the turbo, not taking into account fitting the dump for the bw. If you're moving to a t4 flange (which you should be) then there are better options for the money in my opinion. Yeah it's your money but make sure you don't spend lots of money for a small upgrade. It'd suck to be disappointed with just an extra 50 to 100 rwkw from a stock turbo. Meh just my 2c anyway.
  12. When you get past 35 get your hormone levels checked along with a full blood panel. Those aches and pains might just need some extra help to dissipate. Fwiw I found the best cure for a sore back is to increase core strength. Slowly slowly mate and those cobwebs in the knees and other joints will disappear.
  13. Sure, if you have a nail biting or thumb sucking problem.
  14. You'll have to get ya nail polish out mate and fix them all up
  15. Now that makes more sense. There were a few unmarked roads we drove on.
  16. I thought you liked mine for their stone throwing ability k31th?
  17. If I bought a turbo ford and it felt lazy the first thing I would check is that the turbo and exhaust manifold fasteners are tight. They can come loose and make the turbo slow to spool but it'll still make power eventually. Getting a full inspection from the right shop won't cost much and will let you get the jump on possible repairs or maintenance before it gets out of hand. Better get some pics of the beast aye
  18. Haha yeah. The poor car. I think I'll use a different vehicle next time. I wasn't even game to reverse it into my back yard cos the mud flaps were touching the ground and I didn't want to tear them off.
  19. I didn't take a picture. It was just some pavers. Probably about 350kg's.
  20. Got pavers bro?
  21. Don't feel too bad, I started with a hd6870 playing fc3 at 30fps on high settings.
  22. I'll give it a go tomorrow cos I just hopped into bed. I pulled my pc apart today and gave it a clean. The filters were blocked af with dust. Just for s&g I pressed the ln2 button on my card. It is getting better scores all round at the expense of a bit more heat.
  23. The best I can get at 1080p on furmark is 8115. A GTX 1080 Ti scored 11021. It must be almost time for an upgrade.
