  1. Good job man. So no more "she'll be right and hope for the best" tuning?
  2. It seems odd to me that one would go to the trouble of looking up something they want, making a phone call to arrange to pick it up and then not bother calling or showing up. May as well just do nothing and browse luxury properties on realestate.com instead.
  3. Fellas Thoughts on running a .82 4 bolt turbine housing with a turbosmart progate 50 off the housing with a gen2 gtx3582r?
  4. You mean you haven't been offered a gold chain, a used iphone and an 8 week old kitten for it?
  5. Have a read up on how the actuator works and how you adjust it before you go swapping it over. Here is the turbosmart iwg instructions. Here is a youtube clip showing how to adjust the preload. You will see that if the actuator is not adjusted properly the wastegate will not be sealed shut.
  6. Well at least you tried. I'll have a look and see if I can find the chat. If your car is going in for work soon then I guess you can ease up on it for a couple of weeks until it's on the hoist for a proper look.
  7. If it isn't adjusted correctly it could be holding the wastegate open.
  8. Yep. I almost did today when I picked up the palings but cbf driving back there after to return it.
  9. It wasn't installed correctly if it is the exact same turbo. Look for a gasket leaking, an intercooler fitting leaking or your wastegate being stuck open. Maybe the actuator hose isn't plumbed correctly or the boost solenoid isn't plugged in.
  10. 224 nails later my fence is complete. Note to self, buy or at least hire a nail gun for the next job.
  11. When he drives over here to SA and get someone to tune it for him!!!
  12. There was a conversation about this a while back. Smash the hell out of the search bar like it's a free hooker on a Friday night and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Climbing under the car for a look helps too
  13. I went the petrol digger. It digs a 600 deep hole in less than 15 seconds. Worth every cent.
  14. Maybe not. I like my stuff to stay where I left it.
  15. Lmao if only. Most of them can't speak english so I might have a bit of trouble there.
  16. I called Bunnings and they don't hire them. Looking at gumtree ads for tradies, people are asking $75 per hour on top of equipment hire and again the issue of being so far out just adds cost. I'd be paying someone $100 just to turn up before they did any work. Fark it, I'll get the petrol one cos the cost isn't excessive (though more than I'd like) and it will be handy when I have to dig a lot more holes later. I've got 8 metres of fence to put up today and 34 metres down the track.
  17. It's 38 minutes each way to Kennards hire according to google. The closest major town to me is 30 minutes away. The joys of living in a rural area. The ground is ok to dig at the moment cos it's been raining on and off but when it's dry the ground is hard as fark. I don't mind working but there is a line that I draw when small jobs get drawn out all day. I might have to think about it a bit but my fence wont put itself up.
  18. It's $82 for a 4 hour or $96 for 24 hour hire of a petrol one. I would spend nearly 1.5 hours driving to get it home and back to the shop so it may be cutting it close. I need to dig some holes today and also some in the future so I think hiring would land somewhere in the middle price wise of buying a manual one and buying a petrol one. I'm leaning toward buying cos then I'd have the tools afterwards for future projects.
  19. So I need to dig some round holes and need to buy some stuff to do so. Should I buy a manual post hole digger or a petrol powered one? I'd probably need to get a thin shovel or post hole shovel as well if I went the manual route. Bunnings has a petrol one for $399 and they have the manual one for $84.95 plus about $50 for a shovel to suit. Post hole diggers. Shovel. I'm leaning toward the petrol one but there are only so many holes that can be dug in my yard before I won't use it again.
  20. Haha I was similar until I got married.
  21. What's your aim these days?
  22. K31th You could probably bench your own weight in less than a month with the right training. Lol Rab I could bench 100Kg if I tried to although I've only been back at it for 5 weeks.
  23. Once is better than nunce lol.
  24. Morning dudes. Happy birthday k31th you ole man! It was my birthday on the 10th and I didn't hear anything about it so you might be right. How much ya bench bro?
  25. The bloke might be act like his gold plated vibrator order is running late but I agree with that. The lifters pump up and the sh*tty springs can't get the valves shut.
