  1. No, those are smart numbers. That means I'm growing at 100% of my bodies ability without introducing unnecessary fatigue No point getting stupid sore for no extra gain
  2. Haha yerp. Chest 2/10 sore, back 2/10 sore, legs are an easy 6.5/10.
  3. Friggin hot as hell today, got to 42 or so here. TF there is some cooler weather coming.
  4. Yep managed a hefty 75 minutes that time, who needs cardio with an effort like that?!
  5. Yep kids back at school, plenty of time for me to get bored at home now. We just let them on their devices and go hide in the room for an hour
  6. In other news I worked out that I shagged the missus 48 times over the past 2.5 weeks...
  7. Yeah sometimes you turn the key and it wont crank but it always has lights there. My guess is the farken farkers farked
  8. Driving yesterday, car switches off, no dash lights, completely dead. Turn the key off and on a few times and it fires up like nothing happened. I think it's an issue with the ignition barrel, thoughts?
  9. Yep you might need to just use the machine thingo for a while. Lat pulldowns are good for that area, can even substitute seated rows for a workout close to the same muscles. I'm sure you have it figured out. I did squat bench row today, the rowing part was the easiest for me by far. That's good though, it means deadlifts will be easier.
  10. Ah yes with a fixed weight you just change the rep range. Using the machine thingo is a great way to warm up. See how you go, everything might feel great and there's no rule saying you can't train hard from the outset.
  11. Start sub maximal homie, 65% is good then work up to and over your max, over whatever span of time (4 to 6 weeks) suits you. Jumping straight back to maximum effort isn't needed for growth after a break and is much more likely to cause an injury. Of course you can do whatever the FARK you wanna dooooo.......
  12. First day back after a 4 week break, had to head out early to avoid the heat. I've got 3 months of strength training planned out, but it's in the 5 rep range mostly so there will be some hypertrophy too. While I was taking a break I ate a bit less and got my weight down to 111kg which is a good starting point to slowly put it back on. I'm looking forward to only training 3 days per week, fark knows I needed a break after training 6 days per week for months on end. No joint pain today which is a pleasant change. So yerp that's that, should be strong like an ox in a few months or at least 3 day old socks
  13. https://www.alltranz.com.au/shop/drivetrain/automatic-transmission/A4LD/product/7539/ It's basically a valve body rebuild kit.
  14. The general consensus from various spec sheets is 50 to 60lbft is about 75% of the bolts maximum, assuming they are a grade 10.9 bolt. Kinda wide range there but good enough for me. Haha I suppose I could go out there and see how strong they actually are but cbf right now. Also I'd have to find a farked cam or two to snap it off in, so I'd only have a few tries, plus I like to keep those kinda bolts....my precious
  15. How can you measure stretch on a bolt that's already been done up? You can't just assume that it is or isn't stretched, you have to measure it.
  16. I've reused mine plenty of times with no issues. Be sure to use the right size etorx socket so you don't wreck the head. 60 to 65lbft to do them up.
  17. There is a fair bit of info out there, search for 5r55 transmission and you'll get all the results. From the quick search I had, you can replace the various valve body seals etc, chuck a zip kit through it and it might come good. There is a chance that it's worn in other areas in which case it will need a professional to look at it.
  18. Pretty sure I'll throw them all in the bin if that happens!
  19. Hub dyno is like tits on a fat chick, it doesn't count. Changing the boost sensor voltage might fix it, might not. Chuck a multimeter into the boost sensor and read what it says on full boost, you'll soon know if it's going out of range.
