  1. That's more than double you cup of day old goldfish water
  2. You know if you keep talking about boost I might end up boosting something
  3. Eh your right, she doesn't care. Funnily enough she hates driving and I like driving, go figure
  4. Haha yep, the missus will go I'll tell her after lol
  5. It's a 50 min drive each way, that is too far for me. Perhaps the missus wont care as much
  6. Kid got a birthday invite...the place is 60km away....
  7. Me too. I had choc chip today, lemon and sugar will be on next weekend's menu
  8. Almost as good as fresh choc chip pancakes
  9. This is a thing... https://golebysparts.au/collections/ford-barra/products/copy-of-ford-ba-fgx-garrett-g45-turbo-kit-6boost-manifold-turbosmart-60mm-gen-v-wastegate
  10. If you can get it to stop leaking by just swapping an o-ring into it then do that. Mine is different than the one in the video, there is a flare on either end of the nut that holds it in one position.
  11. Stock FG cams are installed, old tune flashed back in and test drive successful. The engine is very quiet now that it has new lifters and good condition cams. I left the roller rockers in there, not much point swapping stock ones in. I pulled the built trans out the turbo territory too this morning but it's too hot to swap it over. That can next weekends adventure lol
  12. Those cams are not much different than stock as far as the tune up goes and are easy to get dialled in compared to 218-C. I've tuned both and the smaller version is night and day easier and quicker. Honestly you would expect to pay another $600 give or take on top of the usual tune cost for 218-B to get dialled in. They have to be tuned, the fuel requirements are different than stock so you can't just send it and say she'll be right. If you can't get someone to do it I'd sell them and put stock cams back in. There isn't a lot in it and being boosted you can just add a pound or two up top to carry it out anyway.
  13. Bastard neighbours have bastard roosters so I guess 6am is the time to get up on Sunday's. You've gotta be a complete fark wit hey
  14. Yes cams are definitely coming back out, I have stock FG cams to go in which I think the 2009 na cars use anyway. Might just swap the trans for the built high stall version just for sh*ts and giggles before I swap the cams back.
  15. Meh wasn't even that hot. Nice breeze kept it nice and cool 😎
  16. You could make a high hp na engine but it would require a lot of work. It's worth pointing out that the cams I'm using are made for a turbo application so aren't suited for a na build. Maybe I'll just chuck the na intake cam back in and see how that goes.
  17. About to go out to the heat and flies for a workout. I should have gone out early when it was still in the 20s but here we are at 34C lol. The weights are still easy though so at least there's that and the heat is fine until high 30s....*insert Guga voice* so enough talking and lets dew it!
  18. It was better before I reckon. It would yeet itself like a mofo from a standstill whereas now it just takes off normally. Haha the speed limit is 100kph around here or 110 on the hwy, you only need about 30hp to maintain that
  19. Some *beep* just stole $1000 from our bank account. Thankfully the bank is onto it and flagged it as fraud but the money is still gone until the bank reverses it. In other news I got the car tuned up for the cams. Makes a bunch more mid range power and tolerates a few more degrees up top and has a hectic idle but kinda underwhelming, might be better with some exhaust work though...or just slap a turbo on, double the power and call it good lol. Neither of which I'm going to do
  20. It might be exciting, I'll tell ya in a few days
