  1. Eh nothing much man, just chilling out at home. Still doing the same old stuff, family life, weights, car stuff, the usual How's everything with you?
  2. I see @.Stripes. lurking. What's up man?
  3. Swapped out the stock 4 bar fuel reg for an aftermarket reg today, on the off chance the reg was stuffed. It wasn't, I still had the same result with the fueling. It was fine for about 5 seconds before the pump said nah. I did a couple of runs at varying boost levels to get an idea what was happening and to see where the pump was running out. Fine at low boost, as soon as I got it up to 11psi or so, the wideband graph was matching the boost graph, a sure sign that the pump is not holding pressure. Oh well, I'll have to bite the bullet and swap the pump. I knew I would have to anyway but it never hurts to confirm things. I really oughta invest in a fuel pressure gauge, it'd save heaps of time.
  4. Same as your other post, I'm not from there and don't really take note of who does what, you'd have to ring around or whatever. Again same as the other post, can you pull the tcm file and reflash it?
  5. As I'm sitting here on the throne it just occurred to me... Yay Saturday
  6. No idea man, have to check FB to see what shops are up to the task. Can you pull the file and flash it back yourself? This would let any shop send you a file, might be worth looking into.
  7. That's what happens with big cams. The brake booster will store vacuum on decel and a little bit at idle, you can drive around it like this. I never bothered with trying to fix it, I just press the pedal harder, you get used to it. I'm sure you could fit a vacuum pump and it would be sweet. If the cams are locked, there's fark all you can do about it without changing your power band and needing a retune.
  8. This pump will do Pic of car with turbo bonnet Pic of dirty engine bay with leaking thermostat housing...I spoke too soon
  9. Hooray it's only 25C today compared to the 42C tuning yesterday. That means turbos running on gate pressure make more boost. For my car this means the extra 2 psi is too much for the fuel pump so it'll be time to upgrade that. I literally filled up with fuel this morning but fortunately I have half a dozen jerry cans. Haha maybe I'll go out and do it this afternoon
  10. A bit of tuning later and we're sorted. Power is probably only around 250awkw but it's enough for today. I'll get in there when the weather is cooler, it's 42c here and not ideal for road tuning. I'm using kpm 1500cc injectors that I had picked up a while ago, they dialled in very nicely, I was impressed.
  11. So far I've installed coffee, vitamins, map sensor, injectors and 4 bar fuel reg. Gonna fit up the intercooler and intake then think about getting a tune sorted.
  12. I suppose it is all car stuff, it only needed to be defined cos the sun was too much to stay outside all day... Even though I pretty much was anyway.
  13. Rolled out of bed and just got the bonnets swapped over, time for a coffee now lol
  14. I'd upgrade the tailshaft before anything, it'll break the first time it gets on the dyno.
  15. Another good stint today although it was too farken hot. I've got it running now, no leaks which is a friggin miracle. Tomorrow I'm gonna swap the bonnet for a turbo bonnet so the top mount intercooler can get some air flow. I need to for the intercooler which is a 5 minute job, fit the intake pipe which is another 5 minutes, fit a 4 bar reg, also 5 minutes, swap the map sensor and flash a tune into it. I'll have to spend some time with the wideband and knock ears to dial it in but that generally only takes me a few hours with a simple tune like this. Haha no boost control to worry about, just 12psi gate pressure. For anyone wondering wtf I'm on about, I'm fitting turbo stuff to my na territory. The turbo is a billet wheel 3576, perfect for what I'm doing.
  16. Shed stuff is clocking the turbo, setting preload, modding oil return, stuff like that. Car stuff is working on the actual car which is in the driveway.
  17. Yep I'm just doing mainly shed stuff now. I'll go and do some car stuff later
  18. Ok I'm gonna have a look in the shed but there's a good chance it's too hot
  19. Haha well it's supposed to be 37 and sunny here today which will actually be more like 40 and sunny. It's already 37 at 10am lol. That's my excuse for not standing outside working on the car all day. Maybe I'll get some done but there's no hurry, Friday is low 20's and the weekend is cooler too. Plus I registered my VN yesterday so I can get around anyway.
  20. Yeah this is a finished tomorrow thing. The oil drain I have must be for an FG cos it doesn't fit. Oh well, I got all the sh*t bits done, the rest is smooth sailing.
  21. If you're in SA I can help you.
  22. It's your fault lol. I've already for the stock exhaust off and the turbo exhaust on. Had to weld the exhaust back together, lucky I marked it before I cut it. I had to drop the cradle to get the rear section on but the hard work is done. Now just the million other little bits to do. Should be finished later today or perhaps tomorrow.
  23. Come on man show some enthusiasm
  24. Hey @k31th, I've got some pics, you wanna see them?
  25. That's more than double you cup of day old goldfish water
