  1. Haha chuck a bottle of lube to her and say brace yaself luv #foreplay
  2. An engine is like a pussy, you gotta warm it up before you go balls deep
  3. Unlike some people I wait more than 30 seconds before giving my car the jandal
  4. They were yelling it the other day too but the car wasn't warmed up lol
  5. Driving past the local school and the kids are at the fence yelling do a burnout, rev it...so I kicked it back a gear and let er rip tater chip.
  6. Direct neighbour. They went out for the night so the dog decided to bark all night long and set off every other dog in the neighbourhood. Faken thing was karate kicking my fence at 12:30am, trying to get my dogs to bark. Mine a trained to ignore them thank fark.
  7. The neighbour's dog was barking all night and I got 5 hours sleep as a result, so the wet car wasn't that bad. I'll go out and rinse and chamois it again shortly so it'll be clean again. Might put my car on the dyno again today and see if there are more gains to be had.
  8. Spent an hour washing the car yesterday afternoon, farken rained last night. Apart from once last week it hasn't rained for months on end, but as soon as I wash my car it rains.
  9. K31th is just being obtuse, pay him no mind An na 6 speed trans will be fine unless you intend to make lots of power or flog it relentlessly, and if it does crap out it's only a few hundred bucks for a new one. You could easily get a second hand turbo trans that is stuffed and that's a whole lot more money to replace. Also a turbo trans is much more likely to be stuffed because turbo
  10. Cheers man
  11. This is how the car goes anyway. No high stall, no diff gears...yet, just send it lol https://I.imgur.com/Xv0jbLp.mp4 @k31thcan you embed that please?
  12. A more sensible approach would be to run a 4 port boost solenoid and have them send it in a bit later. Be kind to the drivetrain etc
  13. That sounds like someone who wants the job and will do it for a fair price. You can't really go wrong with that.
  14. I dare you to run it with the line to the top of the gate
  15. Yep a non tuned turbo trans will start to slip at 350rwkw. I would happily run a tuned na trans at 300rwkw. Keep the heat out of it and it'll be fine.
  16. Why not?
  17. Yep ran out of time and wasted another $140.
  18. I've had a na box hold 470awkw, it will be fine at 300rwkw. If you're going to get an zf it has to be the German 6 speed, the Chinese version can't be tuned.
  19. Fark me, somehow trans lines became detached from the radiator. Was fine on the dyno, was fine on the street, was fine picking the kids up and was fine stalling it up in the driveway. Go out for a final check tonight and the trans has siphoned itself onto the driveway. Trans lines, plural, are literally detached from the radiator. Nothing on the cameras... I don't know how the fark this sh*t happens, it wasn't touched and shouldn't be a thing. Roll racing tomorrow at 11am, 2 hour drive to get there and now have this sh*t to fix, as well as fit and balance 4 tyres and wash the rig before I go. Wtf man 😐
  20. Ironically due to the large fuel changes, it was lean when stalling it up. I fixed it up in the driveway by stomping the throttle while it was in drive...can confirm it does turn a tyre. That's the best way to get that part of the map dialled. Shed has had 3 weeks of concrete curing and needs one more. I'm going to epoxy the floor so when the concrete is dry I'll do that, then it'll take another week for that to dry. I got sunburnt as a bastard yesterday working on the car...I looked at the shed but yerp, just gotta wait.
  21. There will be some stuff in Vic, I just looked in my area.
  22. Haha old mate will go to the grave with his $3200 trans lol. Here's the $700 ono trans You could also just use a na trans up to 300rwkw or so, provided it was tuned.
  23. Finished up tuning for now, not really much point chasing the rest as it's just small fuel trim amounts, makes no difference to anything. Ended up with 324.7rwkw, up from about 305rwkw.
  24. You'd have a stock rebuilt trans, no upgrades and still pay more than a second hand stock trans
  25. Yeah you'd get scrap You can rebuild a stuffed trans but then you're up for a rebuild which cost more than a second hand trans
