  1. Boat licence acquired, a whole bunch of fit out and other stuff acquired, boat is ready for action. Just gotta wait for a semi decent day and get out there!
  2. What a mob of bastards. Go find some used equipment and set something up in your garage. You'd be shocked at how little equipment I've used to big and strong.
  3. Haven't pulled a deadlift since Xmas. Tonight we decided a family deadlift comp was in order. I pulled 220kg with some in the tank, wife pulled 80kg, 12yo son pulled 70kg, 7yo daughter pulled 40kg. Other kids didn't have good form so we're banned from pulling lol. Not bad for not training fark all this year, gonna be slack for a while then farken send it again next the end of winter. I just don't care enough to stay huge and strong when it's just me by myself.
  4. Turns out I was wrong, the missus won't let me shag her in the boat in the front yard while it's freezing wet weather. Apparently you were right, there's better places lol. I'll post a pic in the appropriate thread tomorrow... Of the boat that is
  5. Probably, I'll find out soon enough no doubt.
  6. Pretty sure shagging is also something to do on a boat
  7. I'll give a comprehensive reply tomorrow, need to rest and unwind for now.
  8. Just bought a boat. Had to drive nearly an hour and a half each way but it's home now. How sick would a cruise be that involved water skiing up the river?!
  9. Next time you're over this way we can go out and see what you reckon.
  10. Haha yes it is raining but not enough to warrant swimming to the pub. Nah I've wanted a boat for a while, it'll give us something to do as a family, fishing, tubing, skiing etc, and for how much fish I eat it'll help with that too lol. We're looking at a 5.2 metre half cab and hopefully it ticks the boxes.
  11. I did it more so to use less fuel, picking up 10 or 20kw is neither here nor there for me.
  12. Yep, nothing has changed except I adjusted the fuel to lean it out a bit.
  13. Yep I buy all the tools so I can do stuff. It's costly but handy so it kinda evens out. One tip I can give you regarding this topic is, don't fark things up using the incorrect tool or incorrect method. If you can see it won't work, stop, re-evaluate and do it properly. You might already know this but it's worth putting out there.
  14. No you can cut it as much as you need. Wrap electrical tape around it if it's too wobbly for you. I've never had an issue with short drill bits, even when gripping onto the fluted area. The only downfall is you cut the drill bit measurement off the shank, so you can't see what size it is in the future. Another method I've used is a socket to hold the drill bit with a bit of cut off cable tie inserted to keep it tight, and a 90 degree air ratchet to turn it. Do what you gotta do to get it done, or buy the right tool for the job.
  15. Cut an inch or so off the end of the drill bit...the blank end of the drill, not the drilling part obviously. I have done this for this exact job.
  16. You have roughly 8 degrees per tooth, so if you're seeing this much or more cam error, it is worth looking into this area.
  17. You're always welcome here mate, holidays right now lol
  18. Now go and buy a high pressure washer to clean your driveway
  19. My life is good, lasagna is good and I'm happy for those things. A solid 5/7 all round
