  1. Eh at least I can justify the price of my golden shower rates
  2. Same, I eat more when I need it and I eat less when I don't. Haha the Nutri-Grain is just one bowl and the coffee is one giant mug with 2 tablespoons of coffee. Vitamins are just a thing I do, can't hurt right?!
  3. Pretty sure eating food is dieting
  4. Rings and bearings arrived today, better pull my finger out and get the pistons ready. It's gonna rain the rest of the week so we'll see how much I can get done.
  5. Yay Tuesday 200G nutrigrain, 4 coffees and a whole bunch of vitamins should get me going today
  6. Shagging, don't forget shagging
  7. The food, all you gotta do is add broccoli and rice and you're set
  8. And chicken, you can't forget chicken
  9. Happy birthday you old fark I was a year older recently, so farken old 💀
  10. A 460 is overkill, it requires a wiring upgrade and a fuel reg upgrade. Use a 255 and you won't need wiring or reg, pretty much fit and forget and good for up to 350rwkw.
  11. Ok well it wasn't the cam timing that was causing the cutting out issue. Yes there was indicators with the cam timing around the cutting issue and while they may be related, it wasn't the cause. Lol I reckon it might be the battery is farked. I knew it was a bit sh*t but I didn't replace it cos it charged up properly. Anyhow I'll get a new one and we'll see how it gets on.
  12. Ok I dunno why but I decided to fix sh*t once and for all and in the most hectic manner possible. In short I put my Kelford 218-C cams in, I locked them up with my Atomic vernier gears and I dialled the cams in with a couple of solid lifters and a dial gauge. I've spent an hour or so dialling it in and I gotta say it's pretty good. I haven't even got the spool assist on and it doesn't feel slow at all! Lol the car has a hella choppy idle but you get that
  13. No idea. Obviously if you step the exhaust down at any point, that part will be the restriction. For how hard you are pushing your car, you would benefit from going 4 inch the whole way through. It's actually easier than it sounds, as a 4 inch 90 will fit straight through the cradle and give your easy access to either end for fabricating. Yes running a seperate screamer will reduce exhaust load, but having a long ass pipe might introduce wastegate back pressure and in turn mess with boost control. I think it'd still be loud af but I've never tried it
  14. The car was cutting the fuel and throttle. I had a stuffed throttle body which I've replaced but still having fuel cutting issues, no longer throttle cutting though. I'm just swapping the pistons pretty much, I might do bearings too but the ones in it are pretty new, they just have extra clearance which messes with the vct, especially if the vct is already worn.
  15. Yeah maybe, I don't wanna go too nuts with a hurt piston. I turned the quick spool feature on this evening, it's the same as the under boost setting in the factory computer. It basically runs 100% wastegate duty until your boost target, then drops back down. I've got a bit of dialling in to do, but I already have a boost curve, just gotta raise it up a few percent. The 4 port is very touchy lol. Having real time wideband correction works a treat with the water meth system. You can actually see how much of a difference it makes in the ltft fuel map.
  16. Did some driving around with the Haltech and it's pretty good straight out the box, although the timing map is more suited to E85 than 98. As I was driving and stopping a fair bit dialing things in, the car warmed up as to be expected, then it decided it was going to start cutting like it was the other day at roll racing. I had a good look at logs etc and what I can come up with now is the vct phasers are farked. There is massive cam error around the times the car plays up so that could be the issue. Any fricken way, I cbf fixing it for now, I'll wait until I do the entire engine. Eh maybe I will fix it, it doesn't take long to swap phasers lol.
  17. Ok, head gasket ordered, rings for pistons ordered and new 7/16 rod bolts ordered. I figured I'd better do the rod bolts cos they have been used 3 or 4 times now and are probably stretched too much. My Haltech cable arrived this morning so I can get to tuning the car slightly and when all the stuff arrives I'll sort the engine out. I also bought a bead blasting cabinet yesterday with some glass bead to prepare the pistons, so everything is set in motion to get it done.
  18. It's half advertising, half stuff you like and half moronically retarded posts from the good old US of A.
  19. I managed to trim the video, here it is. It doesn't look like much but the cuts were pretty violent. The last part I lifted and floored it again but the first part was wot. https://I.imgur.com/nRuSCZ0.mp4
