  1. Yep the guy had all but given up on his chances of having the car ready for racing. He already missed practice today but will be there for qualifying tomorrow morning. I'm getting a whole ass workshop installed and it's about time. Shed will be 8x18m, 4 post hoist that I currently own will be installed and I'll get a 2 post installed too. Move the dyno in there, move the tools in, move the tyre fitting stuff in, etc etc. I'm also gonna get a late model LS3 Caprice for a shop car so I can tune them too. Plenty of work involved with it all, just gonna send it and see how I go.
  2. Far out man finally sitting down to relax. V8 drift car in today, 5.4 from an FG into a BF ute and it had clutch issues. I tried a bleed but it didn't improve, so out with the old clutch and in with an Exedy Xtreme twin plate. Had a lot of waiting time for the customer to get parts, kinda sucks I live so far out but you get that. Got to installing it around 7pm and was done by around 11:30. The guy was over the moon, he's had a run of bad luck with his car this week and I made sure that stopped tonight! Also I can say is thank fark I won't have to work in the driveway for much longer
  3. I think the driveline is ok because the power comes in late and it spins tyres on the shift rather than dead hooking. I could fix it as is but I would rather wait cos 1, I cbf working on it right now and 2, I wanna do upgrades at the same time so may as well do it all at once.
  4. You get that custom made or is it available from a fab shop? That would look right at home in my VN and better yet can supply all the fuel for turbo shenanigans.
  5. They are all for me lol
  6. Haha I'm too lazy to make each one individually
  7. I've premade a dozen chicken burgers and a dozen bacon and egg burgers then froze them. All I do is reheat it, add sauce and salad if I want then send it.
  8. Has it been serviced lately and is the trans tuned?
  9. When you put it like that
  10. Pickles are the best part of a cheeseburger 🍔
  11. Here's some more cool stuff
  12. Eh, it happens, there's a couple of things to upgrade so I'll wait until then before I take it apart. Fuel pump and 320lb injectors are next on the list, then an intercooler upgrade.
  13. I use a reasonably large brass wire wheel for the sump, it is a bit softer and only removes the silicone, not the metal. The smaller ones are less bendy and eat into stuff more.
  14. He's dead Jim. Low comp in cyl 6, reckon I nicked a valve based on stuff and things. Perhaps running 45+psi on the setup wasn't the best idea but it went pretty hard lol. The pull that it made a noise was pretty hectic, the iats went from 30c up to 91c so that wouldn't have helped the cause. Anyway there's that, you get the good and the bad when you're testing things for yourself and I'm here to share it with you bunch of ohmos She'll be right, I'll pull it down when I get excited about it again, got other sh*t to do for now but it will be back
  15. So yeah I worked out how to switch it back to road speed. It's pretty easy tuning when the car will auto tune the cells and you can hold it in the cell you want until it's done. I can't wait to drive the car again, it's gonna be so much better than before and it was already good before!
  16. Woo I worked out how to have the dyno hold the car at a specified rpm. I'm gonna do some more tuning on my VN, it's getting better by the day and now that I can specify the rpm, the dyno will do the work for how much load it needs to apply. Now I just gotta work out what key switches it back to road speed.
  17. It'll either be farken awesome or a big let down, like the time I got an rc car for Xmas when I was 10 and the parentals forgot to buy batteries
  18. Old mate is gonna buy a couple of parts that it needs, I'll fit them and see how we go.
  19. Ok $300 plus the cost of credits, only until Xmas, after that it goes to regular pricing. There are stipulations regarding the extent of your mods. Send an pm or leave a comment here and I'll get you sorted. Also doing $100 power runs until Xmas for any rwd or front wheel drive cars.
  20. Yes it is a turbo one, I'm not tuning it, I'm just fixing it. It's already tuned apparently and it made 70rwkw with no boost, so should double with 20 or more psi in it.
  21. Also an epic way of shafting myself lol
  22. It's making no boost so it wont be hard to make double the power
  23. Ya know what would be funny? If I did $300 tunes for forum members until the end of the year.
  24. Yay Tuesday, did fixing on a rodeo today. Will do more fixing again soon and hopefully double the power output.
  25. A razor blade is good enough to clean the block, you use a wire wheel on the sump.
