  1. Noodles and eggs ftw.
  2. I was expecting mag wheels and honestly not even disappointed 👌
  3. Yeah you both gotta be on 250k plus to afford that comfortably.
  4. That's pretty up there but it always has been in that area. I looked at a 2 bed rental in Maroochydore about 15 years ago and it was $400pw even then.
  5. I bought an over the radiator intake for the shop car, vcm mafless with infill panels. Should arrive this week or early next week. Will have to get the tune dialled right in, good enough isn't good enough anymore Happy to discuss more personal stuff in person when you carnts come for free dyno tuning or the next cruise lol
  6. Shifter will go where the linkage makes it go.
  7. Remortgaged the house, got $150k cash. 37k dyno, 14k car, 70k shed, 9k boat, 10k coke and hookers aka debt consolidation, 10k left or something like that. Money doesn't go as far as you think it does ay. Remember when having a grand was the sh*t?!
  8. Did some trans tuning on the Caprice today. So bloody convenient having a dyno, I can make a change and then just run it through the gears while watching the data. I may have tried flooring it through the gears, basically wheelspin the whole way through the first 4 gears lol.
  9. Just unbolt the valve body from the case. Think about what you've taken apart to get to this point, you don't need to take anything else apart now do you?! You'll see what you need to do when you've got it apart. Adjust it and just put 3 bolts back in to test it.
  10. You gotta drop the valve body iirc. It's been a while since I pulled one apart.
  11. Yes. It's very easy to put it back together wrong the first time you do it. Take the pan off and have a look. Clean your oil catching pan so you can reuse the oil. Edit: just saw you don't have oil in it. Ours is manual park, not electric
  12. I have most of the parts and the funds required to make it happen. I just need some motivation and it'll be done in "2 weeks"
  13. I've made the same mistake myself. It has to sit in the middle of da ting and yours will be on one side of it. No need to remove the trans though, just drop the pan etc, and sort it all out from underneath. Should only take an hour or so to fix, you'd be good at it by now
  14. Mildly miffed at the sh*thouse roads around here that broke my wheel today
  15. Hiiiii...YA!!! Nah it actually pulls the skin of a custard now so that's nice Wait until it gets an 85mm turbo
  16. In other news I discovered this as I was pulling the car off the dyno...
  17. I ran up my Caprice on the dyno today. It made 221rwkw stock and with 5 minutes of tuning it made 233rwkw. Goes good enough for now, will decide on some mods soon and make some more power.
  18. Can't leave a trail if it ain't moving lol. Yeah nah I CBF working on it right now.
  19. Yes. It isn't something you would usually change with a stock setup cos they aren't adjustable. There is a boost sensor that goes into the piping and if it was left out it would create a large boost leak. You would hear a boost leak though. More thank likely fine. I would check for the leak asap and get it fixed.
  20. Picked up the car today, goes pretty good and spins the tyres, so that's one thing marked off the list. Front wheel bearings are shot and there's a diff bush noise going on, so that'll be a fun time sorting all that out. Wheel bearings are nothing to do, will have to climb under for a closer look at bushes etc. Pretty sure the trans needs a service and/or a tune. I gave it a tune, so see how it fairs tomorrow. Sounds system is killa, ford may as well have pulled their stuff out the bin. Farken listened to trance for half an hour while I made up a driveway tune for tomorrow, so good. It's pissing rain tomorrow so no dyno, might just go shopping for steak or something.
  21. You might not have attached the actuator or it has no preload. You might have left a clamp loose. You might have left the boost sensor out. You might have left a rag in the front of the turbo. Check all the intercooler piping and drop the dump to see if the WG flap is sealed.
  22. I have the same jack. I found that if you drill a big hole in it, you can fit a steel pan to the jack and it will support the trans perfectly. This worked for my zf territory/transfer assembly, should also work for a rwd zf too.
  23. Ah good, you can teach my boys how to fix their walls that they broke from wrestling.
  24. Yep I am expecting do do several items such as lifters, balancer, rear main etc. It has a full service history though and none of those issues present yet, except I haven't check the rear main seal. No brake shudder, drives straight, 225xxxkm but a good price for what it is, 14k on the road.
  25. Fair enough, haha nek minute you're kicking a hole in the wall
