I've gotta prep the shed base myself, that involves digging 170m2 down 10cm and compacting road base or dolomite into it. To do that I need to move a cubby house, move some broken down cars, hire a bobcat and compactor and get to work. The middle of summer is the best time for all that lol After that the shed company does the rest, and they should smash it out in a few days.

Shed got approved, just waiting on some more stuff but it's got a green light. 8x15 metres, 3 roller doors and a personnel side entrance. Now I can keep some cars out of the sun, the paint is farked on my xr6 turbo and the turbo territory is getting hammered too. Will be able to move the dyno in there too so I have a bit more privacy and less noise for the neighbourhood. Set up a hoist so I can service my cars easily and the best part is it will be fully insulated to keep temps in check. Happy days

Turns out my parcel had gone into the unsorted pile and was gonna sit there for eternity. It's been sorted and should be here this week.

In other news... I taught my kids how to fry eggs and they have eaten 12 eggs since yesterday 😐

Looked at the dyno again, considered running up the Caprice in mafless mode to gather more data. Tuned the Caprice, didn't run it up... Shagged the missus instead and had some beers

I come across cranky at times. Now that is out the way... You been asking me questions and I've been replying. Not saying you're lazy at all, clearly you aren't, but be farked if I'm answering a question you can work out yourself ie: the shifter position. Based on your progress I would hold you to a higher standard of question asking anyway Any farken way, keep going, you are doing well and you will get it sorted shortly. Not many people can do what you've done.

There ya go, you could have worked it out pretty quickly by fitting it yourself. Don't get me wrong I like helping, but this is not something you needed help with. I have questions as well about stuff and things, but for the most part I get off my arse and work it out, so I'm not asking someone to do the work for me. Happy to help when people are genuinely stuck

Got a day of car servicing tomorrow. Trans service for the Caprice and updated mafless tune, gotta dial it in a lot more on the dyno. Oil and filter for the wife's car, air filter and gear oil. Bloody Caprice is trying to chuck the AC belt all the time, might be time for a new tensioner. Either that or gotta watch less Cletus, clearly LS George is having an influence on my belt. Might even do some more barra sh*t one day

Going forward, I won't to reply to messages asking for tune help, until it's paid for up front. I've spent hundreds of hours, probably closer to thousands, helping people for free. I've released information to the community that tuners would have charged hundreds for. My dyno, my parts and time put into developing the territory, my tools, mortgage, kids etc etc, don't pay for themselves. Yeah I wanna help, but people have taken too much. There's more to this story and I'm not naming names but there are several. I have my own dyno and tools and don't have anyone telling me to hurry up and send it out the door. You get what you pay for and the people that pay nothing are getting exactly that. On a positive note I actually charge less than any workshop out there....for now

Yep have learnt a thing or two along the way

Replaced the front wheel bearings on the Caprice today and went for a test drive, bringing along the draggy. Tried a couple 0 to 100s but not much luck. First time I floored it, the tyre slipped, so I got out of it, rather than do a skid. Second time I got into it slowly and did a 6 second 0 to 100. Third attempt realised a 5.5 second lap, but still accelerating slowly from the start. Either it has a single spinner or my hectic safety pack diff is worn out. Gonna need to upgrade this car substantially to bring it in line with a modded Falcon, although the upside is it does it all without a turbo, so there is hope on the horizon. Also my boot space can hold at least 6 bodies, maybe 8, so that will come in handy one day no doubt
