You literally turned up to my house after a 9 hour drive with pads metal on metal, rotor completely destroyed, telling me there was heaps of pad left, while your missus said you drove here like a maniac, even though she heard the brake noise for the past several hundred km.... and after staying up with you until midnight fixing it, you floor it only 20 seconds after a cold start into the test drive. The whole time you argued about every farken detail on how to fix it even though you have no farken idea what you're doing, which was evidenced by the 6 hours it took you to do a rotor and pad swap, all while stripping the bleed nipples due to once again, not listening to my advice about how to do it. Mechanical sympathy my arse. Dirt roads ain't a big deal you argumentative fark
  3. It's not a wet weather only road, it's a hard packed dirt road. If anyone is that much of a princess I don't want to have anything to do with them anyway. I ain't got time for stupid bullsh*t like people having a problem with a bit of dirt in their guards.

  5. Meh some things can't be avoided. I don't usually mind driving down it but I literally washed the car yesterday afternoon and it would have flicked mud all over it.

  14. It took over a year and 100k to get a dyno and a shed. It took many more years and a whole lot more money and study to learn how to provide that level of tuning and customer support. "Get to it" is not something that is readily or easily done. I'll stick to my principles of providing the best tunes available and whoever that appeals to can have those tunes.
  15. Helping people while getting paid is great. I do what I do best, which is tuning better then anyone else. Customer gets the best tune, which you honestly can't buy anymore. South Australia did not have a tuner that could tune an LS without drilling a hole in the throttle body before I came along. I'm farken dumbfounded lol. I was literally told to drill a hole in my tb by a business 30 years in the game. Your Barra tunes are getting sent out with sh*t for tunes and you don't even realise cos the car drives ok. I'm scratching my head on a daily basis, how the fark are you guys ok with paying for the work and tunes you get? It's a disgrace that tuners and workshops charge what they do for the work they provide. I made my avatar 10 years ago to reflect the scumbag tuners and holy fark does it still hold up today. Anyhow there's my Sunday rant and I'm doing cheaper tunes for now due to the lack of overheads. Dickheads need not apply

  24. Spent the past couple of days tuning the Caprice on the dyno. I fitted some knock ears, ran a wideband into the datalog, as well as having the dyno wideband hooked up, then got to learning. I switched the knock sensors on the car off and did some runs. There was no knock even though the car was previously pulling timing with the sensors switched on. I added timing and pulled timing out to see where it wanted to be. Interestingly enough it wasn't knock limited so there wouldn't be many gains by using E85 in this setup. I adjusted the WOT fuel up and down to see where it was happiest and turns out it wants to be very lean down low at WOT but quite rich up top, at least by NA standards. I have some exhaust extraction stuff so I half assedly hooked it up. It helped out a fair bit and I didn't die of CO poisoning. I really should fix the territory, that will be a whole lot of fun tuning that.
