I was just wondering if anyone has a Catco Cat on there car? There based in Sydney and claim 883cfm flow with there 3.5" cat.

$420 for the cat but couldn't quote on labour but around $600 all up was the ball park figure. I called Importbitz in brissy and they said $320 for the metalcat delivered to my door but had to order one in and never called back about how long it would take.

Hi Iam having trouble finding an exhaust shop who can supply me a 3.5" MetalCat at a reasonable price. Can anyone recommend any exhaust shops who can sell me one with out costing me an arm and a leg. Cheers

not too keen on the bonnet looks too ricey. To me it cheapens the car I would have put the money towards a hard cover but aslong as you like it that is the main thing.

Just got home from night shift and got your TXT messages Dave GREAT STUFF!!!!! I told my mate at work who went to the drags to watch out for you I said a high 10 could be on the cards if the track was good and I was right. Great to see some fast times in North Queensland. That would have to be a record for an unopened XR and doing it up North with the crap fuel we have makes it even better. Whats next for Blueboost then? Im thinking a roll cage!

No black paint on mine Stainless all the way and no ceramic cat either ← no ceramic cat here either just on the dump pipe

Yeah its stainless but 409 grade which they paint black the mufflers are polished and the dump pipe is ceramic coated.when I bought that exhaust off them it was the top of the line. $2100 is if you buy the whole lot in one hit but cost alot more if you buy it individualy dont know what they offer now though

I got my rear springs reset an 1.5" lower by Dobinsons Springs in Rockhampton and cost only $150. Drives alot better and cost very little.

I have 3.5" DiFilippo exhaust from turbo back. I would rather an XForce as they look a million dollars compared to the painted black exhaust from Difilippo. The dump pipe is ceremic coated and looks great but the 3.5" 'HI FLOW' cat is crap and does not flow any where near as good as a Metal Cat. The exhaust sounds great but looks industrial. If you buy the whole exhaust in one hit from difilippo I think it cost around $2100 which is im my opinion is very expensive. Hope that can help.

I had the same problem. It was caused by tighening the suspension from the factory with no weight put on the suspension components. I placed the car on stands lossend the front suspension and re tightened one side at a time with a jack placed under the lower control arm to put weight on the suspension. That fixed my CLUNK when turning and braking. Hope that can help

ask him what size they are? very important to get the right size The Proxes T1R is probably about as good as u can get to fit an 18 or 19” rim. MT Street Radials are the go but the closest size is a 17” so you need Rims. Stick great on the road and the track but aquaplane something horrific in the wet . And don’t last to long. ← 275/35R18 I think I will buy some 255/45R18 T1Rs after your advise thanks.

the tyre bloke quoted me $423 each tyre fitted and balanced. TOYO Proxes TIR. Which leeds to another question what is the best tyre to use on street/strip

I talked to a tyre shop the other day and he said I could fit 275s on the back with the 8" rim. Ive had 265s on them and they fitted alright but I think 275s are a bit wide I was hoping someone has fitted this width of tyre before.

Rims look good. Looks a little like the Limited Edition Garth Tanda And Skaifey Clubsports with the single stripe down the bottm. But not too bad

was there a small hose from the fuel pump to the outlet pipe? It probably is only small say about an inch or so. If this has come loose it will not flow out the outlet pipe.
