Hi all, I had a little boosting problem a few weeks back and was unable to get my ford to boost with the capa flash tuner.I got a few ideas of what the prob may be and I got back a great response,thanx. The tuner is supposed to have a tune set up in it so it can be a plung and play but I got no diference.With all the different problems I received it was just to much so I took it to croyden racing and got them to check it out. it went in with 167klw with factory setting and all they did was a tune to the tuner and new plugs ,I drove out of there with an impressive 240klw.Not bad for a standard car.I was quiet suprised how tough these cars can be as a standard unit with only boost. Feels great now. Does this sound normal to you guys , will the car take the presure? Any comments will be great. dlaw4lt

it still feels like there is boost , just all the same with no matter what setting on the flashtuner. ill start with the hose fitting and see how I go.

do these coolers have any vacuum lines coming of them,as it sounded he was sayin to check for vacuum lines.Does this sound right?

Thanx for your reply, I dont think its the tuner as I feel the change in the gearbox shifts so somthing is happening just no boost.Where is the cooler hose located? I also tried the 8psi setting , same thing , no boost. thanx again

Hi I recently bought a xr6t which seems to be a great car so far.I purchased a cappa performance flashtuner for it to get a little more boost out of it as im not into tyre frying stuff just a little more than factory power.With a 10 pound setting with the tuner the car felt exactly the same as stock????I gave cappa a call and was told it was a problem with my car.They said the hose from the cooler could have come off or a split in the hose under the throtle body,then I was told it could be a faulty boost solinoid. Last but not least it could also be a bad waste gate,has any body heard of these probs or maybe come across them.They said this is why the car wont boost. Any info will be great. Thanx DLAW4LT
