your totally right tab, went back and bought the matt heated it up a bit and refitted and it remoulded. if anybody is close to geelong and wants one, the matts are only $79 down from $190 so they are cheap

I get it with the AUX setting only, when the unit is turned on. Dsounds liek there is an earthing issue on my car as well. sorry no fix atm

can anybody tell me where I can get a moulded BF rubber boot matt for a sedan. I would like one with sides at least 2cm high if possible tried super cheap, autobarn, clark rubber, kfart, big w. nobody seems to even be able to order them in. even got desperate and tried local geelong ford dealer and got the total run around and awasted hour on lunch break. The short story is 'oh yea we got them in, then oh I just sold the one I had aside for you come back in 20 minutes and we will have one over from the warehouse. 20 minutes later, still not in, why dont you pay now and drive to the warehouse and get one. Drive to the warehouse and speak to mark, one of the workers who says oh yea have have about 60 of them but they are all stuffed, have been majorly warped in the heat so they are bent in all sorts of all strange ways, shows me one and tells me I dont want to but it, I agree. back to ford for a refund..... sigh, if they cannot even sell me a rubber matt there is no way the will be going anywhere near my car!!!!!!!!!!!! /end rant , sorry can anybody please know where I can buy one?

finally got around to cleaning the car and taking some pics. loving the car can even worked out how to fit my two surfboards in it!!

thx for the comment but im not looking for the usual dealer bagging response. I bought my car from SA and it has strange dealer identification no from City Ford in Sydney, looks a bit weird. I just want to check to see if anybody has had their car book stamped the same way by City ford before I get all upset speak to the dealer who sold me the car.

Does anybody or has any body had servicing at City ford in Sydney before and has their handbook stamped? happy with the service and work done?

I spent 7 months looking fWanted leaterh, or a nice BFII. I origionally wanted as low kms as possible, only one of a few colours, premium sound. Everything else would be a bonus. Still after waiting 7 months I even decided low kms were the most important thing and even eneded up compromising on colour. I have never owned an auto before, but the zf is a really fun box to drive, im happy with the decision to move away from the manual, really responsive and you can still have some fun with the semi auto. FG is the way to go if you have the budget for it!!

it was 24800 inc $1000 trade in for my rooted 89 laser wagon. A little more than I wanted to spend but it should hold better value with lower km's most cars second hand seem to have 80,000+, I wanted a car with less than 60000 so I was stoked when I finally found this one.

this will probabily sound a bit strang but I have never owned an auto before, im loving the zf box btw. Did some trauling but could not fidn anything. I have been told when driving an auto (especially when parking on a hill) you should put the handbrake on changing the auto from Drive to Park. Aparently on hills this means the hand brake is holding the car ratehr than putting excess pressure on the gear box is this correct procedure or total bs?

got myself a BF2 xr6t with premium sound. When playing cd's im really happy with the overall quality of sound. When I use my iphone via the aux cable the sound quality is really average. I have tried turing off the eq on the iphone as well as differnt volume levels. Overall the volume is quite low (maybe due to the physical output on the iphone) and the range is really average? Will be trying a differnt player and cable tomorrow but is this simply what I shoudl expect fromt he aux input? looks like it may not quite be time to toss my 200 odd cd's

its a BF, got all the usual stolen, finance written off info, money very well spent! in terms of mods, geez im not sure as of yet, its been pretty wet and I want to spend some time getting used to the car, so im taking it pretty easy havent even taken traction control off for a proper play yet!

lol thx guys, would not be taking the remote in the water, good news they key will be fine though. I have a pretty big board, a 7'6 which will hopefully fit, I could always ake the wifes car where it would fit easily, but that would give her an excuse to drive the new toy

finally bought an xr6t, I have prev posted about picking one up from adelaide. Drove to adelaide and back from Melbourne overnight and had a ball driving it back! The car is now showing only 34,5xx kms and im totally happy about it. Overall its as I would expect for a car with the low kms. Im totally amazed about the absolute power delivery and how smooth it is, the car just contiunes to pull its just so fun to drive. This is my first car with aircon, auto, power steering, cruise control, cup holders , so its a massive change for me! just have to work out where im going to fit the surf board now! Pretty unhappy with the dodgy ford dealers I bought the car from, I might elaborate more on this when (if) I get my transfer papers from them. The car is 2006 BFII red and has a tow pack and premium sound, im prob going to have some stupid questions so ill apologise in advace the first is... are the falcon keys water sealed? I have been told they contain a chip in the to enable the immobiliser. I surf a bit and wanted to put the key in my wet suit but im concerned about killing the key any thoughts? Ill take a better photo when its cleaner during the day light, just thought id add a sh*tty one for the hell of it

its amazing how much of a difference taking off that tine little 'turbo' badge under the xr6 badge on tthe xr6t's would make... I know its a bit harder on the f6's

sorry people stupid stupid question. just bought a BF mk2 and I forgot to ask. What do you actually get with premium sound, I know you get more speakers, subby as well as the colour screen. Does it come with any sort of mp3 compatability?
