There should be only so much you can get out of a T from stock components, no matter how much it has ben run in. Your, injectors are probably still gonna be the limit and should only be able to push so much. If you have a freak stock car, doesn't mean it will be able to pull and extra 30 or so rwkw. Lets not forget that this is only a peak figure and there is much more to a car than its peak figure, there are plenty more revs than that! As for AFRs that does seem pretty lean for stock, but anyway, good to see some good figures, but dont get to carried away with dyno numbers.

I've got an x-cal 2. Cant compare to a standard flash as I've never had one. I do like it though, you cant go wrong programming the car as it gives you instructions as you go along. You can read error codes, not that I've had any! I've used the datalogging a few times which is also an extra feature over the old box. As for where to buy, I'm not sure I can recommend those that aren't sponsors? But look around, and you shall find...

I just about disagree with all of this... Betta left long before the Rick Kelly incident. They went into receivership, had no money. 888 went and found a new sponsor. If you watched the racing on the weekend, you would have seen that the Fords were the fastest cars out there, but other things led to them not winning. I think the racing has been pretty even the last few years. Remember the BA's won 3 championships in a row. I think this years championship could be as close as ever.

I was talking to CAPA before I bought my Xcal2 and I asked about the Strategy Flash Device as I was unsure of the difference. I was told that the SF device had a larger memory and came with tunes for a range of vehicles and was aimed at being sold in auto stores as mentioned above. So maybe in the near future this may happen?

I got my Xcal 2 days after ordering, it was sent overnight the next day.

You would know if it was upside down and it would be hard to fit. Mine got a noise turned out to be a nut that needed tightening on the control arm. wasn't much, but it sure made a noise.

Boost you can get from behind the BOV, just cut the line to the manifold in half and use the Tee piece. that's what I did. For the oil pressure, I bought a VDO Tee piece, cant remember the part number, but that went in where the factory sensor is, so you can then hook up the autometer sender and the factory unit. ZAP had done a write up on how to do this.
