  1. Too bad your over there in WA, could of got you a good deal but I hear there a good store. Yeah know what your saying about the size, they are decreet. If the watch packs it in check out the Fenix 3, really good smart watch (heavy and durable) with great apps for fitness not just walking etc. still next time you need to buy something let me know and I'll swing you the price to haggle too
  2. Wow, seems everyone but me are having a bad run with there Vivosmart, I've got 2 Vivofits (kids) had both Vivosmarts (sold both, still working) 2 Vivoactive's (black sold, still have white one) and sold 5 combinations of above to family members and there all still fine. Plus 6 staff members who work for me use them and had no issues either. We see the screen or sync issues come into work and exchange out no worries but not as many as Fitbit's, we get back heaps of those everyday. What phone are they synced to? All the above are synced to iPhones/iPads which push though the updates to the device which seem to fix most issues we see.
  3. No probs, if you see something give me a shout and I'll give you the low down if it's good or not, I get to try them all!! Your right but, once you get up and move and remember to keep active the kilos will keep off. The whole fitness tracker thing is just to remind you too! Talking bout weight if I was 80kgs I'd look dead!! Being 6"4 I'm aiming for 100kg I reckon..... 10kg to go! And there the hardest!!
  4. Sorry to hear your bad trot with the vivo's and the blistering from the HR edition sounds like your skin doesn't like the rubber band which can happen because on wrist HR monitors require you to have them up really tight to work properly. What is your local HN store mate? I still have some older vivosmart HR editions in my store if wanting a new one. The screen issue you had is a batch issue, and my stock is a little older so hopefully no such issues. Have you tried the Vivoactive? That's what I use and you can get it with the strap if needed instead of on wrist monitoring. Best tracker I have used, I'm about to go up to the Fenix 3! Let me know if want help with anything.
  5. PM sent mate, I'm interested
  6. Maybe a forum get together is needed to show some XR Turbs love a Bathurst?!?
  7. Yeah I heard them last night! Mine was in the shed, thought I might have a go ! You went past my joint, peep next time lol!!
  8. Heard good things about the RE003's. Toyo imo wear too quick.
  9. I think there is more support for the go pro as it has been around, but there is nothing to say that you may get the same support for the sony if more people buy the damn thing. ^ Go Pro going no were even if Sony increased sales 300% they wouldn't be at a quarter of Go Pro sales :( pity but true!
  10. Our in store testing shows the Sony only marginally better (real world) plus the Sony will fit all go pro mounts with adaptor available separately. Go pro have remote view finder with app on your phone/tablet and video transfer to your device with easy upload to you tube from said device. Also if wanting more options later the go pro is king with full support, even Drones that follow you as you drive and record. I am giving away the viewing screen with the Sony this month valued at $99 plus the Sony has but in gps for speed tracking which is cool. Hope that helped!
  11. I disagree with what people are saying, GO HARD SON, your only young once! Have fun mate, hope you learn something from it aswell! Houses and wives later.....
  12. +1 my vote........ Let us know how it goes........
  13. Tried these last year as the tyre guy suggested them as my usual Falkens where sold out. Good tyre only down side was I only got 10k out of them on my Escape instead of the usual 50k on Falkens. Good mid corner grip for the price though, not as confident in the wet was the other issue too but only just!
  14. Maybe I am! I've never gone down in the range always brought higher up as wet weather grip is important as in the dry you have more time to correct! Think the message here is don't skimp on quality what every you choose tires make a huge difference in any car you drive especially performance cars. Best advise I was give once about tyres is its hard to get the perfect tyre for all conditions ( without paying silly money) better to choose attributes that matter the most and sacrifice attributes that are least important, I.e better wet weather grip v's poor road noise or quick heat up time at the drags v's low grip in the wet. Balance is the key I reckon
  15. I have been using these: http://www.falkentire.com/tires/car-tires/azenis-fk453-tire Full set on my FG ute in 19" and in 20" on my Escape. Can't fault them. Great in the dry ( good launch over the Dunlop's, with just enough slip when having fun) great in the wet and I go over some winding roads everyday (blue mountains) don't take long to warm up and I usually get 50k+ out of a set. Had the FK452's before and they were unreal. Bob Janes and most independent dealers stock them, I got buy 3 get 1 free last set so good deal I think ($230 each drive in/out) always feel confident with them and the wife never complains about aquaplaining in the wet like other brands I've tried. Been using Falkens for 10 years always been happy Just my 2 cents...
  16. I had this issue twice and when ford looked at it said faulty fuel sender, replaced and all good again. But mines stock so not sure if this helps. When I had it towed by NRMA the guy said common fault on FG Utes. Gauge says half full but tank emtpy, also heard that if you let it run low a lot it happens more often. Once again only on standard systems so not sure with aftermarket in tank pumps.
  17. So you have only had it for a week.... I remember when I got mine..... Lead foot all the time, that turbo surge was addictive!! Now the fuel needle dictates my driving style. And also you don't know what the other owner was like, I.e towing a lot, heavy foot before sale, Shiite fuel etc.Give it 5-10k to "reset" to your driving mannerisms dont judge to harshly, if that fails make it a game!! See how low you can get it.... Or how high!!
  18. How many k's? Mine didn't settle down below 13 till after 30k. I avg now bout mid 11's with avg speed of 57. Check that too. I'm no lead foot but give a boot at least 3 times a day (5 days a week) the misses drives it the other 2 and she's pretty careful with her foot
  19. Make a claim now as the dept sends a complaint to Ford and the dealer so this might get the ball rolling faster. Sinclair Ford told me at first that they have never had to replace a ICC, then when I went in the had 8 on order including mine, then when sh*t hit the fan Chris played dumb and said it not common and mine was the first even though someone on here was going though the same issues and now you as well. Don't bother ring Ford HQ they just tell you to ring the dealer..... I think from memory 4 people including me have had this issue with Sinclair on this forum.
  20. Good luck with Sinclair, worst dealer ever!! Read my post in this and go to different dealer. They are f*cked! http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89737-radio-interference/#entry1547708 Short story was that it took them 8 weeks to install my new ICC unit and I still have issues, multiple phone calls to them and Ford and they are now not interested to help. The service manager (Chris) is a rude *beep* who wouldn't know customer service if it bite him on the bum. My advise is call dept fair trading and make a claim now so that the dealer pinciple see it as the manger won't let you talk to him. Dealer is John Cooper, ask for him and get it sorted ASAP. I had to wait for John to turn up in the morning just to get my point across and avoid Chris. Good luck
  21. Oh yeah forgot bout them, think some guys off here have used them too. Thanks mate
  22. Thought I'd ask if anyone can recommend or works at a good suspension business near Penrith. Need help setting up the suspension on my Ford Escape better as the current wheels and tires (20's) are chewing tires up. Any suggestions?
  23. Nice dude, this is the power level I'm looking for and the tuner I want to use. Can I ask how much drive in drive out?
