Rockfords, JL Audio, JBL - pretty much any brand name sub will do. Thing with techno is the bass is pretty a) transient and b) not terribly low in frequency. Two 10" subs in a sealed box would give decent response and not be too large, but if you want LOUD bass a 12" in a ported enclosure will shake your fillings out

JBL GT 8" sub is also a drop-in - not quite as shallow as the Pioneer though. There are some posts on this forum detailing this speaker.
